Seasons cost

Hi guys,

I'm normally flying over a few times a season , which is pretty expensive with flights, hotels , london in general , but was thinking how much do you reckon a season will cost you watching the mighty Bees , all in all ..

My Lear Jet is getting very expensive these days and landing fees have sky rocketed,

Downgrading to 4 Star hotels will help but I think it will still be in the region of £350k once some meals and drinks are included

West London is expensive and wonderful.

For reasons that are not offensive.

Been following the fortunes of the Bees since my first match at Griffin Park vs Bury I think 2000/01 , travelling over every single season since , and the cost of match tickets etc is getting sky high and there most be quire a few working class people that can't afford watching their heroes ...

If Danish Bee isn't, and cannot get a ticket to a game when he wants to come over, I'm sure a few of us GPG'ers will help him out. So that won't be a problem. :)

Very true but wait until if/when we reach the Premiership, then it will truly be out of the reach of the average person without making huge sacrifices in other areas of their life - which is partly why some on here have mixed emotions over that eventuality.

Agree I reckon if promoted would do one season in priemer league home and away and then wait for us to be relegated before buying a season ticket again

I've been a bit strapped for cash the last year so have to really pick and choose games so not done many away ones but did go Leyton Orient, MK Dons and Walsall and must've cost about £100 for each game.
Very much considering doing what my dad done for this season though as my finances are improving - he got a season ticket last year and to fund this seasons one, every time Brentford played at home he put the match ticket it would have cost him to one side - a savings type of thing...

The main reason I buy a season ticket , gets that part of it out of the way. Just have to worry about getting there now. Trouble is i don;t put the money by for the next season.

Your lucky!

I started in 1953 and home and away matches cost about 1/- (5p). My pocket money does not seem to have risen but ticket prices certainly have!

Just an idea. If you cut down on the meal then you would need less alcohol. ~(looks like a win/win on cost reduction)
