Just a thought...but having seen what went on at Bramall Lane on Saturday, hearing their own supporters moan on 606 and today hearing from a fan who went to the game.......It would appear that Sheffield's actions (ie it might, allegedly, be proved they wanted the game abandoned) could, just could have greater punishment than thought.

Could the powers that be demote them a division????

If Swindon got punished for a betting scandal, hardly as bad in my book as they were going to get heavily beaten anyway, Sheffield United SHOULD inmo be demoted and 3 go up automatically from DIV 2 4-7 in play offs!!!!

Clutching at straws maybe but they have the power to do it...I hope they do, not just as it might help us...

it'll never happen! nice idea tho...

weird atmosphere in the city, utd fans seem to be a bit like "oh, let's just sweep it all under the carpet and forget about it, 3-0 west brom and leave it at that" whereas wednesday fans are baying for blood (if utd get docked pts wednesday have got a realistic chance of catching them, and that's all the sad bastards have got left to play for this year!!)

but neil warnock is a c*nt...

we won't need 3rd place to go up anyway mark
