I use to be up there all the time the boozer over looking the harbour the one you have to go upstairs for use to have a big screen forget what's it called now but most likely will have it on unless they have a gig on

I lived above Bolts Garage in Lerwick for 6 weeks back in 1983.

Carrying out deep water acoustic navigation trials for Shell.

Locals were excellent, the porridge was superb !

Here's a true fact. It has NEVER (recorded) been 30 degrees C or higher in Shetland. Ever.

Sounds like the lounge bar? Been in there on a Saturday had a band on, Captain Flints down the way too.. It being a Friday evening I might struggle... I will try though!

Been up there a few times...go and see our friend Peter McKenzie at the Scalloway Hotel, he loves anything English, and I'm sure would be delighted to switch the TV in the bar over from any Scottish football that happens to be on! Or maybe not...

Best food on the islands though, no contest. Spectacular seafood. Wish we could join you there for fish and chips and the match!

We sailed earlier today, no pub for me..

All set up for watching in my cabin with a non alcoholic beer from the stores and some toblerone instead, one man bees party time lol
