Is it possible to be able to see people's signatures in their "profile" page, as is currently the case with avatars? I have sigs turned off myself, but when someone posts something like:

There's no point in avtars or custom text under your user name, but you were crying out for both.

No you can't see the signature in the profile. If it interests you that much turn on signatures in your profile; look at a post by the poster you're interested in; turn off signatures in your profile.

I don't exactly remember crying out for avatars, but avatars and custom user text are both tucked away on the left hand side of a thread where they don't get in the way. Signatures are right in the middle of the text of a thread, and 99% of the time will have nothing to do with what the subject of the thread. As the 2 current administrators once said themselves:

However, I realise that other people, for reasons that I don't personally subscribe to, may find signatures to be of some valuable use, so I won't argue against them being used on this board in principle, I'm just asking for the option to be able to view them in a user's profile, for exactly the reasons I stated above.

So does that mean it's not possible, or you're just not going to do it? Remember that if that option weren't there for avatars you might never have seen the cock-shaped banana avatar that some people had.

Images in signatures are disabled. I think this counts for smilies too.
