Slow!

[beeeehive]

Is this one of the slowest Brentford teams in recent times?

Right through the team we haven't got anyone with decent pace apart from Ide. Poole is very slow for a wide player, Mousinho, O'Connor, Pead are very average in pace. Thorpe and Connell aren't going to out pace many defenders. Moore is ok for a midfielder, but it gets no better in defence really. I can't remember many Brentford teams where at least one or two players didn't have real pace.

I believe shakes has pace, but just doesn't use it properly

He has great pace until the ball arrives and sadly he gets stuck in treacle which leaves him unable to kick the ball.

So did Linford Christie, but he couldn't play football either.

lol So he's reverted to his pre-season form then?? Fortunately he's only on a short contract..

Ide is not fast in the slightest, him being small gives the impression he has but he never leaves defenders chasing him.

Pretty difficult to use your pace when you're sitting on your arse on the bench !

Linford was always a good few lengths clear......

I heard that Linford had more to piss with than you had to walk with.

Never mind slow, what about SHORT!

Even our first choice centre back is under 6 foot.
