Clare , get into the real world. Stockport are and always be a small club in the lower leagues. Rich chairman only throw so much money in. Stockport is not a bottomless pitt, he will only invest so much.

Stockport and Brentford are small clubs fact.
Greater Manchester and greater London are not the places to attract a huge fan base are they?.

Sonko will never go to County for footballing reasons. Maybe for money, but unless this guy is a true Stockport fan and is prepared to lose money, then Stockport in a few years time be will be regretting paying the kind of money they would to Sonko.

It will be nice to sign the players now but the club would suffer worse in the longterm.

We had a RICH owner who was giving "funds" and the rest was history. :(

Erm, that was not even funny. I think its your Dads that forgot to put the joeys on, not ours!

Anyway, if you look at things, then I am sure that we have been higher in the league for a lot more time than you have been above us!

Anyway, I don't know why this has turned into a slanging match because all I did was ask about the RUMOUR, and I don't think it's just me that needs to grow up. Most of you are older than me, so you lot should know better................

I like Brentford, I would say that they are the team I want to do well the most after County, I liked the fans too, but you lot are just being really spiteful

I don't think it's good for fans near any of the big clubs, because all the fans go there!

Sorry if I upset anybody by the comments that I made before, your right, we are a small club, I doubt we will ever be in the Premiershit either, but I would rather it just be loyal fans!

Oh, and I don't do any ironing in this house, I get it done for me thanks! ;)

I thought these sort of rumours were the domain of the top clubs going for the premiershit title and trying to unsettle each other. It sounds to me as if Stockport are trying to play similar mind games in our relegation battle. rolf

No spite, Clare - but this is just rubbish. I expect that most of the years that Stockport have been in a higher league than us are since 1998.
