My father's claim to fame is being the Northumberland Fusiliers' champion mop fighter! This seems to be a sport of some type involving two grown men sitting on a horizontal pole over water with mops in hand; the objective being to push your opponent off and be the last one on the pole!

Is it true Gerry is a Bees fan ?

I remember reading in Shoot or Goal when he was England captain and played for that club down the road that he would like to manage Brentford one day
