Thought Sergi wanted 47 when he first came here on loan as 'twas his Liverpool squad number and felt it would bee lucky for him. When he re-signed fron Naarwich, it just seemed natural for him to keep it - he may have requested it, after all.

Going by a couple of videos from the training camp, it seems that Reece Cole has been given 23, Konsa now has 5 and Benrahma currently has 21.

Canos was number 64 at Liverpool. He wanted no. 7 when he joined but Saunders had that, and the next available number ending with 7 after that was 47.

He said he chose 7 because his favourite player is David Villa and his number was 7 but Saunders had that, KK had 17, Button had 27 and Courtney Senior had 37 so he chose 47.
