Stats: what stats 2

The old thread made for interesting reading but I've been looking back at our home form and seen that we have conceded 2 goals or more in 9 of our last 10 home games which is something that drastically needs to change ...as has been pointed out before conceding no goals is worth more than scoring a goal so I'm hoping the defence gets itself sorted out sooner rather than later.

Yep we discussed this stat in the Fortress GP thread, saw it earlier in the week. Pretty sure it is 8 out of 9 but still a terrible stat. 19 goals conceded in those 8 games too. Also worrying is we have now gone 7 games in a row with conceding the first goal including all 5 games this season. With a team short of confidence we need to change this soon. Still a long lasting stat from last year is running again, whenever we take the lead we get 3 points. Just might need to get ahead a bit more often.

Surely to God, the only stat that matters as far as any team game goes, is that you score more, goals, points, runs, clock a better time, swim more lengths etc etc than the opposition!

Why would Matthew be worried if the opposition can swim more lengths, you haven't got it either! lol lol
