Loved him. Was one of my favorite bees. And then, not knowing better, I liked reading in the PL with him, Ivar, Sonko, Tabb… all those ex bees in the pl.

Was this many moons ago? I remember reading an interview with him in a match day program where he commented that he had been friends with John O’Shea as a kid. Hunt said effectively ‘and look at him! In the top flight with Manchester United! Didn’t work out as well for me, but I’m happy for O’Shea’.

Whenever I saw him playing in the PL for Reading I thought of that from that article.
