Yep. Had a trial at the Bees too. Went on to better things :banghead:

Yes it does make you think why did he slip through he net ? Local boy by all accounts. Girl I work with went to school with him (Lampton in Hounslow I believe )

Went to Lampton deffo. Quite a good runner as well, my cousin used to run crosscountry too

He was with Spurs U18s in 07/08, so if he trialled at Bees the previous season, it could have been Leroy, Fitz, Quin or Butcher. Griffin probably knew about him, being local.

It was Peter Baxter that asked BFC to give Caulker a trial, when he was about 14/15, the centre of excellence said no, Chelsea didn't want to know either, but Spurs did. It was our loss and Caulker's gain, as we saw when he played for Yeovil against us, now he's a Spurs regular and a Team GB 'cap', an England U-21 cap and soon to be a full England cap, possibly. IIRC he was a friend of Ryan Blake...... Whatever happened to him.....

Yes it was in reference to the amount of travelling he did whilst injuryed last season, and how much he intends to do whilst injured this year. I hear he is doing Trans-Mongolian Railway this year.

The idea of signings is they should be better than what you've got. On the evidence of the highlights vs Cardiff, there's are certainly no better.
