Stewards at GP
But should have done that before the game.. What would have happened if we scored in first half say?
not a lot I reckon

because they get away with it at Brentford as our fans are very civilised, alot of other clubs fans wouldn't put up with it......And Brentford police have more than showed they are incapable of policing Bees games.,they are the same as the stewards, very good at stomping authority on their own fans but when away fans kick off they stand back and let them enjoy themselves, often quick enough to sort out any Brentford fans reacting though
Perhaps they were looking for known flare bearers.
If you have nothing to hide a quick search can be quite pleasurable.
Stewards from the away club can be requested to attend the match by the home club.
The same with the police.
I quite like the 'Son of Boris' steward.
Leave Auntie Pauline out of this.![]()
Legend is an overused term in modern football but she is defintely one.Legend is an overused term in modern football but she is defintely one.
And she is nothing like the turd we are discussing who patrols new road..
Regarding the individual Steward in question.
Would it not be better to contact the club if someone has an issue with him, rather than resort to keyboard attacks on a message board?
Stewards at Brentford are much better, on the whole, than at most grounds. Be careful what you wish for in terms of stewards.

Maybe it's cos I'm older, but I do believe stewards are better than they used to be.
Got a very vigorous search on Saturday. Not necessary, but at least the steward was polite. I guess Brentford supporters now have a reputation for using smoke bombs/flares and we all suffer because of it.
Best stewards I ever encountered was at Wycombe. Could not have been more helpful. Showed real concern for my 'poorly' friend.
Best stewards were at Coventry without question because they use common Sense and didn't go looking for trouble (e.g not whining about fans standing)

Time to get that young groundsman who came out last year to get the singing going all through the game
Going back to stewards, it looked like they were going over the top during the celebrations after our goal.
