Still buzzing?

I've been buzzing since Good Friday and can't get rid of this obsession with checking the GPG and twitter every half hour. This is going to even worse when we start building our championship conquering squad and the fixtures come out. To be honest I'm not that bothered about the World Cup now.....it's all about the bees.

Anyone who is returning their tickets for Saturday for no reason other than the deed is done should be ashamed of themselves and banished from going to:-

QPR
Fulham
Leeds
Forest
Ipswich
Etc
Etc

Still buzzing?

Definitely still buzzing, first day back in the office today so had chance to relive it all again with those colleagues who were interested (and those that weren't). My PA is a QPR fan so she got to hear about it twice.

Still buzzing?

Problem is I have 3 months objectives to meet in two weeks.

Still buzzing?

I have become slightly obsessed with checking the gpg, I had to change my password at work, it's gone from warburton to benham lol!

Still buzzing?

keep wanting to cry

Still buzzing?

Oh yes still buzzzzzzing, still hasn't sunk in, feel like I'm dreaming. No tears as of yet, they will come when the final whistle goes vs Stevenage, I'm sure! RIP it's Brentford init.

Still buzzing?

Absolutely! Just watched the fan cams of Preston on facebook! Watched FL Show earlier today (not as bad as I had expected). On here too much! Thinking about next year's squad in bed! Can't make Saturday but really looking forward to Stevenage!!

Still buzzing?

I'm going to Colchester and the final game of the season.
Then I need to do a bit of work on the house and Mrs.
I'm all fottballed out, can't wait for the close season but I have 2 more parties to attend !!

Still buzzing?

Each day this week i've had people giving me the well done Brentford, glad you finally did it!

Keep seeing various pics on Twitter and all the videos - crazy crazy memories - helping it all sink in a little bit more

Still buzzing?

Still ecstatic. Smile hasn't left my face since Friday. If pride truly is a deadly sin, I'm heading for damnation. I'm overdosing on the stuff

Still buzzing?

Over the moon Saint, i think this one is the best of the lot.

Still buzzing?

Just watched the second fan cam clip on youtube the roar at the final whistle is superb and is quite emotional to watch, that bloody dust just isn't going away!

Yeah, it seems to get louder in each successive clip. You can almost hear all the hurt of previous years been excised in that split second! A really wonderful moment!

Still buzzing?

Going out again tonight, Sloane Square of all places, will be a few sunk in celebration of our season.

Oh it means so much!! All that heartache we suffered in the 90's early 2000's the roller coaster of good seasons ending with the curse of play offs and the wrong outcome!we now have one of the up and coming clubs in the country and our fans are all stronger for these experiences! When that whistle blew to end last Fridays game all those feelings just came flooding back which meant so much to me! Chuffed that my kids were all there to witness the day and I will never ever forget that moment! I have wanted promotion so desperately and now we have it and the icing in the cake is the stability of our club. We have a chairman that wants more and more and have a state of the art new stadium to move into in a couple of seasons. Wow keep pinching myself. I have read on twitter we will have no games on sept 6, October 11, movember 15 and march 28 due to international weekends! Another fantastic thought that we may have a few players released on international duty. Ah this is fantastic and so deserved!! A great family football club that I'm so proud to be a part of and am hopeful for more great times in the future.for now though just happy to
Enjoy every piece written on the internet watching reruns of Friday and that moment it all became real... Yesssss

Still buzzing?

Got caught this morning, whilst making breakfast in what I thought was an empty house, doing a particularly loud rendition of "Bees up, Fulham down". Safe to stay I'm still a bit excited rofl :o

is that down to the disappointment of last season that makes it extra special? I only ask as Darlo for me was a great day out with great emotion but Preston last week beats it for me. Getting us in the Championship is just such a thrill - buzzing at the thought of it. Family and mates enjoyed a top day! To overcome all that sh!t that we have constantly been reminded of from "that penalty" during the season for me makes it perfect.

Anyway back to work......... ;)

I think so, its been a year long itch you can't scratch.

Now it's ok hearing 'that penalty' as it's part of the story. The 'low before the high' element of it.

We're stronger as a club and as a team for it. People now talk about how we bounced back from it, rather than how we failed because of it.

Still buzzing?

I'm just so proud of the way we did it - playing proper football, keeping possession, passing to feet. A lot of less enlightened teams tried hard to stop us playing but when they came at us to try to close us down we just passed round them. That takes a lot of courage, belief and skill. Especially when nervous fans are screaming at players to "get rid"!! And not least when the occasional catastrophe inevitably occurs (Swindon!). It is a philosophy that comes from the top - so all credit to MW. I didn't think we could keep it up for a whole season, but I was wrong; we did!

Now we have a style and a method that is well established and in which the players feel comfortable. It will be the framework both for fresh recruitment and for developing young talent with a view for promotion to the senior squad.

Still buzzing?

I've had a soppy grin on my face all week, and can't stop singing 'Bees Up, Fulham Down'

Just hope I can still sing it at the Stevenage game.

Still buzzing?

It's just a feeling to enjoy.

Darlington was nice, just more of a relief to get out of a wretched division before we became too familiar with it!!
Cambridge was good as you knew we had a decent side for the following season too.

Nothing matches this though. It's a serious Club now, one that others are talking about, people admire our football, our business model, the way the Club has bounced back from a harsh finish to last season.

The fact we've done it quickly gives us immediate closure AND there is so much to look forward to. Not sure there's a need to fear The Championship, or that many (if any) fans are dreading a struggle an immediate drop back down as in 1993.

A whole new era beckons, new teams, new grounds, bigger crowds, some beatings, some massive wins. We'll find our level then push on.

Been buzzing more than ever about being a Bees fan since early last season and after Peterborough away on Jan 1st you just felt that this was going to be the year. Not a lot has changed apart from sheer relief it's been done, with a bit to spare as well. Just delighted for everyone associated with the Club. Happy days

Absolutely the same. Having partied on Friday after PNE and got "selfies" with most of the first team and management (and a lot of photos with poor Matthew Benham, who looked embarassed when we started singing "Benham is our Jesus" chant outside the Griffin) been on hols with my fam in Cornwall and I've been desperate to talk about our wonderful club.

So far I've pinned down a Villa season ticket holder who feigned interest in what I was babbling on about ( we both agreed that we really don't like Birmingham City!) and even a grumpy Rangers fan who really didn't want to chat but I persevered anyway.

Brilliant brilliant times to be savoured for us long suffering loyal Bees.

Oh and constantly singing Bees up Ful*** down is just totally addictive. Back for the Stevenage game where it's real party time.

COYRs!!!

Wasn't fortunate enough to be at Darlo, but one of the things I remember about the commentary was Chris Whickham, after the Darlo player was sent off, and the crowd were getting a bit lively and upset, I think maybe they could hear what he was saying,he then said 'I don't care we're not coming back here next season.'

Still buzzing?

In sleepy Brightlingsea north Essex bored everyone Sh**less in the barbers today telling them all to get down to there local club and see the Mighty Bees tomorrow, guy in seat next to me told me no chance he's been a season ticket holder at LO for the last three years!

COYR's!

Still buzzing?

When work got a bit sh*t today I just switched off for a second and thought about what I was doing at the same time last week!! None of the feelings had gone away. :D :bound:

Still buzzing?

My daughter has just realised just how big a bees fan she is..

My wife got hit big time by my 12 year old daughter when she found out I wasnt going to umpire the first two matches of the cricket season because brentford still had the two games to go, when the third one clashes with my daughters 13th birthday party . She asked my daughter how she felt that her dad was not going to umpire the two games because of football but that I was gonna miss her celebrations and umpire a cricket match. My daughter replied with three words that made me so proud " its Brentford innit"
