Although it has to be said that I'm quite optimistic about this game - in recent times when we've played Stoke, we've lost 1-0 (twice) and 3-2 when IMHO we didn't deserve to lose any of them. So it's about time we got luck on our side and beat them, whether deservedly or undeservedly. THIS IS OUR YEAR WE ARE GOING UP!!!

Brilliant atmosphere, crowd of 9,830. Brook Road in great voice as are Stokies, with their continual rendition of "Delilah".

Game is a nervy, scrappy affair and look a nailed on 0-0 very early on. BBB is having a 'mare.

On 86 minutes, Sidwell wins a crunching tackle near the centre circle, fins Triple B, who looks up, drags the ball back confusing his marker and curls a left footer high into the top corner........

GP erupts, Stokes heads go down and we nearly score a second just before the ref blows the final whistle.

Braemar Rd packed well after final whistle with 400 fans booking the coach to Bury :) :)

It's Ok for you lot - You will all bee there !! - However, having correctly forecast the Brighton game at 4-0 and Blacpool as 3-1 (To Peter Gilham direct - Not on this board) I have a feeling that 2-0 to Brentford should be the correct score for this game - Have no idea who will score the 2 goals and dont care either - I would be disaponted see a crowd under 9500 for this game - It has every ingrediant needed - If they do not come for this game what will the missing fans come for ?

The saving grace is that my brother will be there with a mobile fone - It's only 5 cents a minute to call him from Houston so I will have a "Live" commentary of the game via fone and will be able tohear the screaming bees fans as we score (Both in the 2nd half in front of the Wendy House) Aty the end of the game Bees stay on the pitch for 5 minutes going to every part of the ground to applaud the part played by the fans - No one leaves !!!!!!!!!!!
