I'm based in France and would like to go straight, by which I mean pay a legit streaming platform that offers more or less complete coverage of Premier League (ie Brentford) matches.
Which soccer streaming service provides best value for money, in your view?

There are no legit streaming platforms that provide complete coverage of the PL in the UK.

Canal+ is the PL rights holder in France I believe.

Paying for subscription sport packages is never value for money. You pay through the nose so we can sign players like Carvalho. If paying your subs so those of us who go to games can watch exciting players like this then you have my blessing

In France you have no choice if you want to go legit. Only Canal+ have Premier League rights.

The best value "legit" streaming is achieved by subscribing to a rights holder. No rights holder in the UK shows all EPL games (even when you combine subscriptions). It is possible to sign up and subscribe to a service that is available in other countries that does show every game if you do your research. You do then need to use a VPN or other redirection service to watch it as it will be geo blocked in the UK or France. To give you an idea, some services offer every game for as little as £30 per year with English commentary.
Do bear in mind that it is not actually legal to do this but it is arguably a lot less murky than IPTV as your money would go a proper broadcaster which has paid the Premier League.
As others have said your only truly legit option in France is Canal + which is the answer to your question..

I just renewed mine, it's canal plus here too actually, £80 for another 12 months. Didn't feel like it went through my nose, although the opportunity cost is 80 Czech beers so in that context, i agree ish

The US do proper black Friday deals !
They invented it! A shopping booster to fill in between Back to School and Christmas on the Walmart calendar.

It uses to be called Boxing Day Sales here!
Yep all Christmas Cards 75% off. Wife used to fill her basket. Don't bother now as the cost of the stamps are just stupid. Just buy one card. Photo it and email or WhatsApp it to my friends. Would text it but never worked out how to attach anything to a text!

Yep. The Post Office honestly believe that hiking the cost of a 1st class stamp even further will increase income. And not that even fewer people will send cards and they actually make less money.

Royal Mail not the Post Office, anyway back to topic.

Actually used to be NYD. Then it became Boxing Day. Then started on Christmas Eve. Got earlier to Black Friday which apparently starts mid November.

I found BingSport when away in France and saw Toney's equaliser away to Arsenal in full HD! You get a few minutes free and then pay with a card. It switches streams when one goes down and have subsequently used it on my travels. Card hasn't been hacked in the meantime (!)

Just a heads up that US based Peacock streaming TV have a Black Friday annual subscription deal of $20!!

They show probably 80% of Premier League games live.

That's an incredible deal.
Can we use this from the UK?
Or would we need to use VPNs to look like we are in US?

Edit: got my own answer. Going to the peacock website says only available in US

Pretty big sale on if signing up for a year. But it seems to only accept crypto payments for new sign ups

Supported by PIF, pennies to them.
Nope, it's Len Blavatnik. It's been going 10 years now and I am surprised he keeps investing in bigger and bigger losses. When I was there the talk was always in region profitability as the stepping stones but I don't think that's been achieved yet.

Ok, just seen that PIF did invest. I hadn't realised

Direct link between DAZN winning the broadcasting rights for FIFA world club cup thing, nobody else bidding or caring about it, PIF plugging the gap.

DAZN also going back to the French FA saying that the money they bid for TV rights has to be reduced because not enough sub sign-ups.

That's useful. Rather like ITV Digital?

And DAZN were the only bidders who were anywhere near the money asked by the French FA. The domestic broadcasters knew it was not worth it.
