Strikers

Not if they are Darlington, Wycombe, Notts County, etc. etc. etc. Let's face it Brentford are looking very weak & the biggest issue I would have is I don't see much creativity in looking for solutions. Wheres the lower league & conf. knowledge AS is supposed to have? We won't create & score goals with the options we have at present & for me that means we will be scraping at the wrong end of the table!!
Come on TB/AS get your fingers out !! Can we all stop groaning about budgets & focus on staying in leauge football. This team will not inspire visits to GP & I for one think that non investment in better players is the doom loop to non league!!!

[Les Beeavinu]

So we've written off Thorpe and Connell have we

[platoon brentford till i die]

is furlong still coming he would be ideal and where this 1/4 million greg we need a striker a 2 midfileders

i don;t think Furlong would come for £600/week, plus do we really need a player of that age?

[Les Beeavinu]

No we don't.

[platoon brentford till i die]

he's better than thrope

[Les Beeavinu]

What's Thorpe like then?

[Stanley]

I expect most fans of most 2nd div clubs apart from Peterborough and MK Dons are saying the same about there respective clubs.

They do but most of them know their teams are in Div 2 , I think for some here it has not yet sunk in.

[platoon brentford till i die]

Thrope will do good for us but Furlong over thrope anyday

Different races in fact.

One is called Tony and scored the winner against us one night at Loftus Road and the other will score many goals for us next season.

I believe he has a daughter called Miss Ann.

Zoe, she's from Jamaica but doesn't have a very smooth running action so no good for our girls team.
