Stuart Nelson

I'd describe it as "starting to lose respect of the players" myself.

so this is the beginning of the end then, players will not play for him. player rule:sad:

Fulham came out and said they would loan Chelsea a GK if they needed one, maybe they could send one our way for a game or ten.

Stuart Nelson

Saw Nelson entering the car park as I was leaving with his other half and possibly his parents ?.
No sign of a limp he was smiling and chatting away.

Also saw Sam Sodje leaving in a brut of a motor...... smiled and said hello.

Nelson has had a great deal of support from the football club. He became a first team regular straight from non-league and has been supported despite some ropey performances. I happen to think that he's a good keeper, but if he throws the toys out the first time he's under threat, then  .

The truth will out in due course, no doubt.

.................don't hold your breath that anything will appear on the OS...........

.....................or in the matchday magazine.......................

Nelson is an adequate 'keeper at this level and if LR wants shot of him that's his choice. If it's true that One Eye has a loan deal at Swinedon all but in the bag, then let him go but the very next press release I'd expect from LR is that he's just signed a new 'keeper. And it better not be that fat fecker Stannard :nono:

I'm not sure that being unable to keep the miniscule squad we have all happy is "strong management". If the below is accurate I'd describe it as "starting to lose respect of the players" myself.

What else should a manager do when faced with a 10 match losing run? I didn't see a lack of respect from the 11 on the field today. If one or two don't like being dropped, perhaps they should look to give a positive reaction rather than having hissy fits. Calum Willock has been dropped more times than anyone, yet he still tries and today succeeded. That's what I'd hope a professional would do.

.....WTF were you doing, leaving with his other half (and his parents - gulp!) whilst he was entering the carpark....................?

.................did Sam's car smell nice, or did it have a slightly 70s whiff...........?(and was it KnightRider..........?)

Hard to say isn't it. There's only two circumstances where we get to what happened today:
Nelson told he'll not start, so announces he's damned well not dressing then.
Nelson told he'll not start, sulks, Leroy tells him that if that's his attitude he'll not dress either.

Both scenarios sound ominous in terms of deteriorating player/manager relations.

[yes, I know he's claimed an 'ankle injury']

so this is the beginning of the end then, players will not play for him. player rule:sad:

Waiting on confirmation as to whether the couple in the backseat of RichBee's car were the Nelsons.

Can't see how Leroy can be faulted on either count. Would you do any different? If either situation is the accurate one, Nelson will have made himself look a proper numpty with his team-mates by landing us in a situation where a 20 year old reserve midfielder had to play 70 minutes in goal.

Stuart Nelson

Oh, I agree. But generally it suggests that all is not well in the changing room.

Please please be true and then make it a permanent deal !

Masters red card should get rescinded.

Rumours that Nelson was warming up then heard he was dropped and just left the ground straight away, other stories are that Nelson was injured and left the game with is mum.

Masters - Brentford No. 1

Should have said he was with his other half.........:sorted:

It was some motor............

Stuart Nelson

In the "masters or nelson" thread it was reported yesterday at 2:45pm that Nelson had been informed he was dropped for today. So neither below correct.

The truth is that he was actually dropped sometime between last Saturday evening and Tuesday.

nelson was sat in the stand to the side of the dug out (with a brentford tie on) with lloyd and a couple of other players until masters got sent off then he went staright to the dressing room. He is injuried and could be out for up to a month. he was limping and not allowed to drive and his other half was driving his posh motor.

Are you his "other half" by any chance?

Stuart Nelson

Well i was told a couple weeks ago that Masters was going to be played VS Northampton in the JPT and if he had a stormer he could well play the next game.

Stuart Nelson

lol We can't even agree if he was ****ing limping or not so there's no hope.

Stuart Nelson

Spoke to him 10 minutes ago - he is resting damaged ankle in front of TV with large ice pack and a takeaway - he has asked for a lifetime contract at Griffin Park to see his time out

cant you read - SHE who must be obeyed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course I can read, I chose to ignore it since the names on here rarely mean anything. I mean, do you really believe a banana could sit at a computer and run the GPG? ;)

Anyway, in the context of your name, you're either Cleopatra or Hilda Rumpole. Which is it, old darling?

Of course I understand the limitations of the average banana - who doesnt - but then I am trusting enough to believe that you are actually Russell - trust me I am neither Cleopatra nor Hilda Rumpole - but I do have a life and as it is waiting for me some 6 feet from the keyboard I shall bid you good evening

Between calling someone a 'dweeb', taunting someone that we'd never figure out who you were, and your "I'm tight with Stuart, y'all" malarkey...your first 10 posts don't impress much.

Neither - I said life not takeaway!lol

Stuart Nelson
