Superstore???

At risk of being slaughtered I have to say that some of the Superstores antics are a bit questionable, can say no more. But what is also very poor is the picture of a black holdall laying on the ground looking like its something put down to cover a dead fox.I cant see how Puma can be of any interest to anyone. What should be aimed at is marketing a brand which is Brentford,a logo which is recognised instantaneously as Brentford FC.
Take the Wolves logo, wonderful is it not, simple but dramatic and striking. The only Bee logo which has always moved me is the one on the old Supporters Clubs badges, simple again but easily identified Think that holdall looks very sad and of questionable ethics.

Superstore???

I didn't understand any of that - hope that helps.

Superstore???

Bit tired after long day at work. Just wanted to extol the virtues of simple powerful symbol identity. For example all American Baseball Teams are easy to identfy by a simple logo. I like our badge, about 16 years old now,but at a glance it isnt Brentford,it is just a shield which needs closer inspection. So cant understand why the Club Shop have a picture of a very sad looking blk,
bag laying on the floor, unless it symbolises the state the shop is in.

Superstore???

I didn't either, I used to think the Times crossword was hard!!!!

Superstore???

Do you mean this?

Superstore???

If that's not yours Ed, we may have to evacuate the site.

Superstore???

No, there isn't a Bees' badge, just marketing for Puma. Why? And why is the stretched shop budget being wasted on such dire merchandise?

Maybe the budget would be better spent on developing a brand which instantly highlights our club,is dynamic and trendy and doesnt look like one of the lost bags at Heathrow. That way good staff could be employed and further the marketing of the club:fishing:

It's got BRENTFORD written across the middle fairly clearly, which is a damn sight better than the majority of other League football teams.
I agree about the Puma stuff though, if it's not got BFC branding on it then we might as well just be JJB sports. Perhaps this was part of the deal to do the kits though, as we aren't exactly flush with cash, so perhaps there was give and take on the products front.

Superstore???

I think so as the club and various of its facets are being run by inappropriate sources whilst people who have worked damn hard are treated very poorly. :(

Superstore???

would be way too much info much very sad about the way the club has gone in so many ways, used to be a family club, seems like some selective old boys club whilst all others are byu invite only as long as they tow the party line. Have seen people change and their is a sense of fear by radiated from old established
people. There is people working at the club who are on enormous wages, but do they justify them.

Superstore???

Think those who have the ear of the club do need to ask a few questions about this situation,or is it too non pc

Superstore???

What situation... a rather trendy looking bag which isn't too chavy, unlike Lonsdale, and doesn't have a huge plastic tacky Brentford badge on, is lying on the floor in the shop... looking pretty?

What a sad state of affairs we find ourselves in

Superstore???

The club is a disgrace from the Ivory Towers containing the writer of Oliver Twist down to the shop. I hope you all at some point stand there and wonder how these people justify their £100 thousand plus wages per annum whilst on another thread people talk about putting up the entrance fee if we are in the top 7. None of you and I mean none of you mean the slightest thing to the club, their wages are guaranteed REMEMBER......LOW PAID WORKERS SOLIDARITY WITH THE TERRACES............but you are all too blind

So, are you going today moribee? What do you reckon - 3 points for the Super Bees?

Superstore???

... their £100 thousand plus wages per annum...

Do you think that if you post this enough times it might be true?

It worked for AceFace last year, though ;) !

You seem to be developing a tenuous link between management salaries, the working class (whatever that now means) and legalised drug addiction. Is that where you're going with this? Or is it the script of David Lynch's next film?

Eh?

... although Gallaghers might.

the author of OLIVER TWIST has fallen on HARD TIMES with no GREAT EXPECTATIONS. He presides over a BLEAK HOUSE and will probably rename the programme PICKWICK PAPERS,and no doubt he will give us a CHRISTMAS CAROL and rename the superstore THE OLD CURIOSITY SHOP. In truth we dont need him to tell a TALE OF TWO CITIES,we need our football club back and for him to be AN UNCOMMERCIAL TRAVELER.

Does anyone know why he wasnt given a seat on the board or which board member blocked it? He is not short of an ego though from reading his PS in the programme, still nor would I be with the perks.

Why not send a question to the club board?

Which about sums the attitude of the establishment. Perhaps people would like to know how they were actually moved from Brook Road without being given a choice in fact but were fooled by a cosmetic exercise, wake up people:(
