Stedders is as honest as the day is long, shares the common views about lack of consulation in BU and I feel won`t let GP be given away by the BFC Board.

He is also works tirelessly while ****s like me throw our toys out of the pram.

He'd get my support but although isn't a poll before standing a bit like cheating.

"I'm going to stand if I get enough support to make standing worthwhile. Otherwise I don't want to stand." Why not? Stand or don't.

I'm not having a go at Stedders here, who I think would make an exceptional candidate but you only find out how much support you've got when the votes come in. And it's pretty clear from the other thread that there's a lot of support for Stedders.

Obviously I speak as a bitter and twisted alternative candidate with an axe to grind. rofl rofl

Stedders would be an excellent candidate and I wouldn't hesitate to support him (he'll need supporting after eating lettuce for 4 weeks! :D )

Yeah, and I don't want a poll that shows that no one's going to support me - coz it might put me off. :D

I wasn't insulted anyway, it's just I think he has the qualities required and should run but he doesn't need the crutch of a poll here to tell him to run.

I throw myself on the electorates good wishes. I will happily nominate Stedders on forms to.

I'd give my support to Stedders, although if Lokster looks like his avatar, I would have to vote to him other wise he might appear at the front door and laser me with his eyes. ;)

Could be a handy negotiating tool at the board meetings though. :D

I kind of look more like a South Park version of my avatar - with glasses. Smiffy Superbee and Wee Dave are some of the few people to know my genuine identity. :D

I have met a number of people on this board - mainly at Blackpool away.

However I hope this election isn't going to sink to discussion of looks. Just because I look like an evil genius doesn't necessarily mean I am. Although as JBN says it might be a good negotiating tactic. rofl rofl

I know and respect Stedders I dont know Lokster, Which is a shame as I think it would put him at a disadvantage. AS far as I know,Paul Stedman fought ****er Noades all the way on moves to sh*tty non league grounds.
In all my dealings with Stedders I find him to be straightforward and genuine.
I say stand Paul you would get my vote. Sorry to anyone else who is standing, dont let me put you off.

I'd of thought that it's savvy to find out what support one would command in order to decide whether or not it's worthwhile running. No point running and getting nil-point is there.

Perhaps they should do that for the Eurovision Song Contest :D It would save us sitting through hours of pap with the eventual winner decided by political voting rather than quality of performance, unlike real politics where it is decided on the theatrical performance. :D

It wasn't "despised" Stedders............it was "feared"......

He filled his board room with sycophants who allowed him to do exactly as he wished and to their eternal shame Bees United approved one of them for the Chairmanship post Noades and allowed him to secure without publicity what had been an unsecured loan and at the same time encouraging its members to pump in its own loans unsecured. And don't start me on the ".........in the event of an administration......." guff.

Noades was not used to anyone standing up to him which is why he now labels his decision to come and "help" Brentford "a big mistake".

Don't forget Stedders........we know where you live........ :D
