I did see a Bees fan with his daughter (she had a home shirt on), after the Wycombe game. They were at the vets near Addlestone when the road got shut off after the big accident.

So thats another one to add to list!

There was talk of a get togehter on another thread, a massive berks and Surrey Boys gathering. WarrenBee had kindly offered to organise it, but Markybee got involved and that was that!!

I know WarrenBee and myself are up for a beer, it's just getting the date right. I'll pm the man and see what is occurring

Oh and the added bonus is that you always bump into the players. I am now on good speaking terms with Mr Rhodes following his last day goal heroics, me and the boys got him lashed in the Toad in camberley and then dragged him to envy!!

i'm in frimley green, what we like to refer to as 'the camberley riviera' with stunning views of the ...... basingstoke canal, and one of the highest land points in the local area where one of those fire basket thingies is which was lit a few years ago. and us rich, posh people in frimley green regularly gather together to scoff at our poorer camberley neighbours. in fact in our small community we boast 3 hairdressers! and 2 of them are of the bloody expensive kind as well! other frimley green highlights are:
Johnsons Wax
the green and the rec where you can watch pissed up 16 year old bottle each other
the rose and thisle (sp?) which serves london pride on tap
and a few other things which camberley people are jealous of.
so living in frimley i suppose you can say you associate more with us posh lot then those commoners down the poor end of frimley rd.

The Basingstoke Canal is a lovely stretch of water, my father in law jump in the boat and whizz up to the Bridge Barn at Woking for the odd sneaky beer or two. It takes about 30-40 minutes so we do have to take supplies with us though

Nothing wrong with Surrey. Originally from Richmond and now in Woking (missus comes from here) I'm lucky enough to live right on the Basingstoke canal and like nothing better then spending a few hours down the bottom of the garden fishing (with a few cans of course)

You are making me feel even more depressed - is this what's in store for me?
The kids have already got unfortunate Swindon accents and I'm going to have to fork out on elocution lessons! They are, however, being brought up as Brentford supporters and will be making their debut at GP next season - that should knock some sense into them and teach them how to speak proper.

Having had a chat with Mr WarrenBee, we thought a get together the week before the season starts. Initially I was thinking of the Friday befor our first game, but if we have to go to Hartlepool, some may be too jaded to drive.

WarrenBee can get a venue in West Byfleet, (cheep beer) with food (£5 per head).

If your up for it, PM me and between WarrenBee and myself, we will sort it. All you will have to do is turn up and get pissed and eat a prawn sandwich or two!

There is just a shade under 2000 members of the GPG and only 120 or so have replied to the above thread, which is less than 10%.

Using the Peter Snow swingometer, we see a dramatic swing to the Surrey area and a potential 140 Surrey seats on the GPG Parliament.

The sunny county of Surrey provides the second highest supporter base (at the moment)
