Surrey are very hopeful ..Quarter Finals !!!!
Surrey’s home match v Hampshire T20 has been moved to Thur June 9th

The game was previously scheduled for Friday July 1st but has been moved because of the possibility of clashing with an England quarter final match at the 2016 European Championships.
As for all T20 Blast matches, the action will still start at 6.30pm.

Michael Di Venuto appointed new coach. Well respected, plenty of experience in County cricket.

Chris is a top class player at Surrey Championship level. He is a big hitting batsmen and a very good spin bowler. I saw him play quite a few time last season and when he got in and got going then he was fun to watch! Won a few matches to with his spin bowling. Played for Sydney Thunder in the recent Aussie Big Bash comp. He also played for Surrey 2nd's quite a lot last season. Also as my lad plays for Sunbury he had quite a few 1-1 lessons with Chris and he was really good with him and really brought his game on. Look forward to seeing him again when Sutton play at Sunbury.

Lost by an innings v Lancs. 3rd defeat out of 6 CC games today.....

Wtf are we doing this year??!!!!!! :(

Looks like a swift return to Div 2 :sad:

Concentrating on T20 and Royal London perhaps ........ :confused:

18 wickets fell at Taunton on Sunday as Somerset lost 10 wickets for 56 !!!! Batty 7 for 32 in 9 overs......
Surrey 256 ahead with 4 wickets in hand......not overly confident that we won't still cock it up.....

At least I had a saver on Somerset at 15/8 when they still needed 60 to win with 8 wickets down.....

I didn't but certainly made up for that in the evenings in various pubs!

Can we play you every week?

Speaking as a Middlesex supporter, I'd say Surrey have screwed up by batting for two days.
While Somerset head for a priceless victory against Notts, it looks as though Hampshire will hold out for a draw against your lot.

Huge loss for Hampshire. Used to play with a guy whose in there twos and there are a lot of problems down there and a lot of people want out.

They scraped home.
Huge result. Very damaging loss for Hampshire.
Nottinghamshire have some tough games remaining.

Winning by an innings is not scraping home. A much deserved win for the rey :)
