How many have swopped areas for tonight? North Stand to The Dugout for us tonight. Rather different.

I did North stand for Blackburn last season, West stand ST for Arsenal, and South stand today, only one more to go!

Went from West to Dug out tonight. We really need to start a campaign to get those Samosa's around the ground; by far the best food at any football stadium I've been to ?. The view was also great; bar is very impressive and getting in and out easy.

I like a bit of height watching football as I find you see movement etc better and nothing compares to the atmosphere in the West stand so I'll be glad to get back up there; but top marks for the Dug out; I can see why it is very popular.

Same as Shamrock. Samosas and bar were tops. Not sure about atmosphere but put that down to a lot of first timers in my section.

Normally north but west for me tonight. Good atmosphere but so many people getting up and down. Prefer it in the north

North to dugout for me tonight. Loved the posh seats and personal urinals and lack of queues at the bar. The samosas were delicious although weight watchers may take a dim view of the sellers forcing the customers to buy 3 at a time.

My only complaint was the complete lack of any atmosphere. I am sure if we had started singing ‘is this a library?’ we would have been told to ssh.

North to West for me and junior. Nice to see the wide open concourses and the bars open after the game...not seen that in North.

East to South for me, 4 games and 4 stands done now.

Not the greatest atmos but its the mickey mouse cup against some NLS ?‍♂️

DO to RW, mmm, glad 4 experience but grass defo greener. Pie way too small (no samosa on offer just expensive meal that's the size of starter c £12), amongst quite a few too nice footie crowd (if u get my drift), although saw quite a few old faces. Plus point.. they opened too may bottles at 1/2 time!!! End of day so glad went for DO.

Sat in my own seats in west but was annoying how many people have no idea where they are sitting and getting up and down all the time for people

Went in the North normally in the West. I was pretty much on half way. Fantastic view of game. But just felt weird. I think the diluted crowd may have contributed but I felt alien I was getting up and shouting at stages and when we attacked found myself raising off my seat but be the only one and then feeling bad if I was blocking a view of someone.

Absolutely pleasant experience. Just too alien for me. And night have just been the particular crowd.

I did seat next toe two new fans and chatted to them about their support etc. Two nice lads both new members and actually were in East stand for Arsenal game. Both a had good "Bees" vibe.

I of course did lay down the law explained what was expected of them now as Bees fans.

Season ticket in the west sat in the north for this pros good view,lots more room behind stand cons alot of daytrippers,had a “commentator” next to me that didn’t stop all game

even tho west concourse is cramped I much prefer it there for the atmosphere alone and the view IMO is better

ST in weststand and literally had the half way line in the north for this game also... seems a lot did.

Enjoyable but kept on looking over to 'my seat', looking forward to being back there and NOT SITTING for the Brighton game.

ST - North Stand. Dug Out last night. To be honest I like both. Liked seeing all the 'technical shenanigans'.

Probably because it was full of strangers too busy eating Samosas to sing, against Arsenal with the real Dug out fans it was rocking ???

I was moved to another part of the R&W closer to the halfway line. People in front and behind talked constantly throughout the game about non Brentford stuff. I cannot understand how some who come to a game, can’t get involved in the experience.

I did try singing with a mouthful of samosa but unfortunately only managed to spray chunks of said samosa onto the FGR dugout – fortunately it was the veggie version.

Love our seats in N123. Superb view just past the halfway line half way up. But Jesus what is it with with people who just dont watch the game? Had a steady stream of young, eg not incontinent, people going in and out all game. FFS we are there to watch football! Sit down and forget your beer or pizza or piss until after the game or at half time please!!!!

North Stand last night with Junior.

Apart from a nightmare getting in it was fine.
Decent folk around us and recognised more people there than in the South Stand.
Had a nice chat with Minky Bee too.

My season ticket is in the south stand, but I sat in the north stand last night and enjoyed it much better. I wish I could switch permanently.

I will be interested to see how things change for next year e.g. if there will be a 'Runaround' style season ticket swapping period. Other elements I will be interested to see but I won't mention.

I did the opposite and found the North Stand to be superb. Atmosphere in the Dugout hasn’t really taken off yet which was definitely not the case in the North Stand which was rocking.

That’s actually quite a good idea for next season. There’s probably going to be a fair few people who would rather sit somewhere else. We are all in the same boat in that it’s a brand new ground, and expectations are not the same as reality, so there’s loads of valid reasons, be it just to sit closer to someone we know, that extra flight of stairs, nearer a station etc. Maybe a proposal should be made to the club in the fullness of time.

Where I sit in the south stand is alright.
Where I sat the other night was better.
Where I sit there are a lot of new faces and I personally think I will struggle to get to know them.
In the North Stand I don't think it will be a problem.
I remember when the club spoke to me about my season ticket and tried to get me as close as possible to where we sat in the paddock.
I accepted something that was in hindsight a mistake as I was on the phone and without a map of the ground to show me more and I guess I bought them blind.
It is what it is at the moment.

South Stand is an enormous disappointment for me but can only be my fault. I won't be going back to S106 willingly.

Unfortunately I think we’re going to be stuck there. Can’t see many relinquishing their seats in the dugout or halfway line on the North Stand. Can’t help but feel like we were sold a pup in S106. I expected to be able to get to see mates in S102 at half time but can’t get around there. it is what it is.

That's how I feel. We are stuck solid in that little area.

What I find in the South Stand is that we go in through the turnstiles, up the staircase and onto what I call the landing area. Even though there’s the bar/refreshment counter, it all feels a bit cold and soul-less to me.

When we switched to the North Stand for Tuesday’s game, it felt more like going through the busy Braemar Road forecourt before the game and I get the feeling that over the course of a few years, you’ll see the same folk in the same places in the yard area and underneath the stand. I don’t see that happening in the South Stand.

I know it was impossible to recognise that beforehand, but similar to what has been said by horshambees, I think we may have made an error by simply trying to replicate the location of our seats rather than thinking about what sort of environment we really wanted.

I’m not complaining, it is what it is, and it was our choice to sit where we are. But I do have a few regrets.

You sum it up well. I had the unpleasant experience in 2014 of visiting HMP Bullingdon all summer and one had more leeway there. They could improve it for us I am sure but really don't want to go back in there anymore.

Definitely more of a buzz in the North Stand and have a choice of 3 bars (I think) to buy a beer from.

I have a new New Road ST, but I think I'll have to experience a game sat in the South stand. Is there no concourse running the full length of the stand behind the seats?

Interestingly enough I sat in the Paddock and when I turned up for my appointment at the reservation centre I fully intended to buy in the South Stand but the employee who assisted me pretty much persuaded me to go for the North which I did. Happy with the decision and our seats.

Only slight disappointment so far has been the bars not staying open after the game. I’d assumed it was due to both competitive league games being evening fixtures but wonder now if it’s due to the size of the concourse. Any idea @hobbsy?

Sounds like it did. Can only assume they’re not keeping the North Stand bars open because the concourse is too small to have people leaving and queueing for drinks at the same time.

Interesting. I'm in the North Stand and we chose seats to more or less replicate where we were in New Road. The view is fantastic and the stand feels like it has something of New Road about it except for the toilets and catering outlets which are a vast improvement! I wouldn't want to move at all. Very happy!

Totally depressed now. Think will wait until I can move which at my age is dangerous,or maybe the club will rectify things.

I may have dodged a bullet there. S106 was my plan but either there was nothing or very little there (i.e. very low and wide) by the time I got my appointment so went for the North Stand.
