well can,t beilive the chaos at the tea bar at the brook road end of the ground half time there queues for the tea bar the the men toilet and the bar for alchol bar did any other person have the same problem think the steward did not help as the had a line across the tea bar while did they not have entrance to the bar and a exit to it

The stewarding around the BR tea bar area is p*ss poor at the best of times. Four stewards facing AWAY from the bar forming a 'line of control' still fail to marshall a queue and still allow alcohol to be brought back into 'Wendy House Upper' (latterly confiscated by a WPC). If they really can't manage the situation then the solution must be either to shut the tea bar at half time(not a popular option I'm sure) or to put some trained stewards on the job who actually look as if they give a damn!

Had season ticket in Brook Road last year for the 1st time, have now gone back to the New Road, can't believe how badly thought-out that stand was, between the sh*te turnstiles (How many Brook Roaders have ever seen a kick-off) the sh*te arrangement of the facilities & the sh*te view from the terrace it takes much of the enjoyment out of watching a game. Surely we could sue the useless b@stard's who designed & built the thing?

I am just passing on a message from The Club, which reads:

"The Brook Road terrace was last night at 98% capacity which as we all know leads to over crowding of the very limited toilet and refreshment facilities in the South West corner of the Brook Road stand."

"We know the facilities are poor and inadequate but there is no excuse for poor stewarding of that area. As from Saturday a new specialised team of security stewards will make every effort to ensure that the route through to the toilets and refreshment bars is as controlled and comfortable as possible.

We are also re-introducing the mobile tea/coffee trolley in the turnstile compound and exploring the possibility of positioning a mobile food bar next to the turnstiles."

well done mark,lets go even furthur and allow the gate between br and braemer to be oppened at half time ,so as to use the 2 bars now open there-this would also ease congestion.

have to say, even as a brook road season ticket holder,
was well impressed with the braemar for the cup game, top view, feel like you are almost on top of the players, good atmosphere, easy acess to the bar at half time, may have to reconsider my end when the renewel comes up,
if thats ok, to the chaps above:) !

Best thing I ever did was move from Brook rd last season to the paddock this. It's all down to Bee H so he's not that fussed about who uses the faclities. :)

The first time I ever came to Griffin Park (where I shall remain for ever!) I sat in the upper Braemar and thought that while the view was good, it just seemed a little depressing. Dunno why, it just did, anyone else ever found this from sitting in this area?

I then started sitting in the New Road, much better I thought, and I have remained there until this day. Might try the paddock one day, I've heard it's pretty good in there and some pictures I've seen taken from it seem pretty decent. You never know...

Shame on you, why can't you drink your alcohol in the cage like everyone else. I for one am glad the WPC confiscated your illicit booze.

Not my alcohol, but the pr*tts sitting in front of me who spilt more than they consumed and left that part of Wendy House Upper smelling like a kharsi!

God knows why anyone wants to go in the Brook Road.The view from the terraces is awful.The legroom of the seats in the stand is for 10 year olds.now:
In the new Road we have wonderful facilities and wise heads.No bottle throwers.Like me alot of ex-national servicemen who know how to behave.Also we have Bernie Mark 2,you know the one."Push up Brentford",Get out Brentford",Give me a game,Brentford".I mean you couldn't ask for more than that.

It comes from being so close to the directors area(bar John Mc of course:D )
