David Pratt, Shaun McAuley and 2006 Cup hero Matt Warner should shake off knocks from the Dorcehster defear to play, whilst top scorer Delano Sam-Yorke has recovered from a back injury and with the current injury problems, will most likely start.

Taylor Parmenter returns to QPR after his one month loan expired, although manager Frank Gray may look to extend Taylor's loan or bring in another addition.

Danger men:

Tim Sills - Football League experience in abundance, the forward man took a while t get going but is now an integral part of the line-up.

Delano Sam-Yorke - Pacey and skillful, the forward/wide man will look to cause Brentford's defenders problems during the game and add to his already goal tally for the season.

Whoever your right-winger is will probably run rings around the left-back Toby Little, the weak link in the side.

Uwe is taking 'both' cup games seriously and wants to go as far as we possibly can... I hear again on good authority that Saturday's side will be another very strong selection.

i should hope so.this game is much more important than jpt.no undermiming the fa cup

thought i expect this game to be respected at the highest,it would be good to involve one or two that need it..if McGinn is out it would be good to have Spillane in,or on the bench..Even a player from the development in some way.or is that too much

fair do's,all i mean is have the likes of 1 or 2 who have promise in them or need the run out,such a Spillane as i think hes a top top player but something is wrong there at the moment,a start or good run out for him could benefit us in the long run getting him back on track,would 1 change be that drastic ? duno about McGinn,read it somewhere above

Spillane isn't even wanted by cambridge so don't see him getting in our team

Yes, play-offs (which must surely be considered a realistic possibility) and JTP Wembley success COULD be affected by a few scrappy replays on the way to a plum 3/4th round tie. But it's worth going for it. Oyeleke looked VERY promising against Stoke pre-season. Dave should play. Need a very strong midfield; Basingstoke will be better and fitter then most think and will be playing out of their skins; it's their cup final.

courtesy of vc mazz... here's a clue to basingstokeys why we hold said keeper in such esteem... the term legend is used all to easily but ashley bayes (if it really is him and I'm not being wound up) is an absolute legend... i still believe i may be able to forge a career in professional goalkeeping after some of his howlers... if i was there, i don't know whether i'd laugh or cry if he stepped out... i bet he gets a warm reception... how the hell did he spend so long in professional football? if 'our' ashley turns up, then i think that 36-0 in the guiness book of records could be trebled... ah ****... doovster is so right though...
