Who need's Tarky when we got Barbet!

Team for Brighton

Moore
Moses, Tarky, Craig, Shay
Jota, Douglas, Toums, Dallas
Donaldson, Gray.

Makes you think doesn't it. Couldn't think of anyone more recent than Woodman at LB. Woods perhaps.

Wouldn't Craig be better choice CB or LB would consider Moore in goal as we got money for him

I'd go with that bar Djuricin in place of Vibe. As CTbee has above. :)

I'll be listening in via radio or phone. Working on a match evening is a pain..... :(

What's yours then?! :D

ps Vibe is probably knackered! He's been playing since April 2015 without a break! 50 games plus maybe?! ;)

It wont happen but Hoff could play off the front three ,with them playing in triangles with great movement.

Still not happy with Swift on the wing

He's been brilliant there last 2 games and he isn't stuck out there , him and Judge interchange regularly

I think we will be seeing a lot more of KK, Gogia and Hofmann over the next couple of months as we have to make a decision about whether they're up to it in the Championship.

Agreed CT - think Smith will go with this XI. 17 games, 11 wins, 3 draws, 3 defeats ... playoffs. Can't wait for Friday!

Only if they are selected through tactics or performing well in training / Dev Squad. They need game time but we have more than a year to assess. KK was signed on a 4 year contract.

I'm still not, nor will I ever be, happy with Swift on the wing.

I'd like to see MacLeod in the squad, but at the same time I'm not sure I'd want to see him play more than perhaps 10 minutes, if that.

I know top professionals should be able to cope in any situation yada yada, but as he's not played a single game for us yet in over a year and this game is live in front of potentially millions on Sky Sports, I'm not sure he needs that kind of pressure on his back just yet.

He'll need to be eased into the team very slowly and unfortunately we're going to have to be prepared for potentially a handful of anonymous performances. We can't have the same kind of reaction some did towards McEachran against Walsall, as look how he's improved since then.

I agree that MacLeod shouldn't be rushed in but one positive of him having come from Rangers is that at least he'll have been used to playing in front of much larger crowds than we get so shouldn't feel that pressure.

Very good call this

I was just wondering who would be left out of the 18 tonight. We have 20 fully fit players to choose from.

Button and Bonham must be in. Dean, Bidwell, Barbet and Colin too. Hofmann, Vibe and Djuricin are likely. So are Judge, McEachren, Woods, Swift, Canos and Saunders.

That leaves three places between five: Yennaris, O'Connell, MacLeod, Gogia, and Kerschbaumer. The first two are probably needed for defensive cover; Gogia seems to have impressed DS, but MacLeod has to be given a chance sometime.

Thoughts anyone?
