There just aren't enough goals in that team. It has to be either Clarke or Vibe instead of Josh. Not jumping but that's all w have at the moment.

Agree with this.

It is likely to be the team that started at Leeds who were very impressive in the first half, as long as there are no new injuries or perhaps more likely this time of year (I'm suffering), viral illness.

Sorry, but Vibe does not add goals, even indirectly. And Clarke does not easily fit into a 3-5-1-1

I don't disagree but what else do you do as otherwise you only have Hogan with any real goal threat in the entire team?

Same team as against Leeds, we played quite well and will be more expansive at home. Not over impressed with Vibe but he did OK and is quite suited to the formation. Lets hope he comes good on Boxing day.

Is Nico still carrying some injury? There seem to often be references to it and he's clearly not been at his best (where he was starting to become one of our best/better players).
If fully fit I'd play him but if not I'd be tempted to give him a rest and focus on getting him back to 100%

I keep waiting and hoping for him to wake up from his slumber but.......

I know, he's been very disappointing so far however he did look good in his cameo at Leeds in that position and I understand that's where he played the majority of games for Shrewsbury.

Nico was starting to become one of our better/best players but seems to have gone off the boil and DS refers to a recurring calf injury on GWL.
If fully fit I'd play him but if not I'd be tempted to give him a rest and focus on getting him back to 100%, send him to a specialist etc, if they haven't already.

Nico has been playing with an injury for quite some time. I thought they were trying to keep it quiet but DS did mention it the other day. He looks like he is playing at about 80% capacity, cannot last the full 90 minutes and is unable to make as many forward runs as normal. He is massively important to our style of play given his tenacity and mobility and he desperately needs a prolonged rest.

Maybe he will be able to get it in January.

Yes, perhaps when McCormack is back then Yennaris can get a rest, but he needs to play at the moment as our only real ball-winning midfielder

I would agree that he needs and will get a rest but hopefully there will an alternative solution that presents itself soon rather than playing Macca

True but im going off the potential of Clarke still being out injured and the fact that Vibe is offering about as much pond life would do atm.

IMO Josh no good for this one,Warnock will make sure this is a battle, and Josh isn't what you need in a battle.

... so that's Vibe and Sawyers out, then!

A risk I know, but Field was seen as a risk a few weeks ago, just think we need protection for the 3 at the back.

That's a lot of central defenders on the park at the same time. Not many attacking threats there.

Just remember, everyone who sits near the bench needs to film, record and take note of all foul and abusive language from the Cardiff bench and then report it to the police.
