Team for Forest.

Will Judge return to the starting 11? I would hope so. Vibe up top for MD with Judge hopefully back to in the midfield and keep the rest the same.

Cant see us going with 2 up top Ghost. For me Vibe will get his chance through the middle where IMO he will be very effective.

McEachran should be the next one back but he needs match practice first.

Normal team with Vibe up top

We're at home and for that reason I'd like to see us attack the game a bit more. I think one of Canos/Saunders/Gogia in Woods/Toums/Macca would help us do that.

If we drop Woods , Toums or Macca i will say a naughty word

I'm expecting:

Button
Yennaris, Dean, Tarko, Bidwell
Woods, Disgorger, Mac, Swift, Judge
Vibe

They will play in the usual 4-2-3-1 formation.

If Judge isn't fit, I expect to see Canos deputise. MacEachran and Jota, given that neither have apparently featured in a DS game yet, both seem to be some weeks away at least.

They're all playing well but when we play all 3 of them it means we have very few players capable of scoring/assisting a goal. If swift, judge or vibe don't score then we won't score.

I think that's the correct point. Playing three defensive midfielders, even if you ask them to get forward a bit more, gives us a lot of possession but not too much goal threat. It makes us easy to defend, especially if the opposition sits deep, as we're relying on a bit of magic from Vibe but especially Judge and Swift.

McEachran played 45 mins in the friendly against Bournemouth, at the start of the International break; but then didn't play in the following DS game. I hadn't heard of any sign of a niggle in the friendly so it seems odd that he didn't play in the DS game; but then again I know nothing about player injury rehabilitation. It would be really nice to get an injury update, but maybe we are looking to surprise some team on the day?

No way will LC change the midfield five that have been so effective. Vibe up top with Judge, Swift and Woods supplying the ammo and Macca and Tooms patrolling the middle. 3 points on their way :)

There is some decent talent coming through our DS at present and besides I personally see Jota as a hot hatch and not an RR :)

IIRC he drives a Maserati. Which is apt - not quite a Ferrari, still a very nice motor but has some reliability problems so needs to be looked after well.

Sounds like a very gentle run out prior to a DS game sometime in the next few weeks. Thereafter it's a case of getting properly match fit. If all goes well we might hope to see him competing for a first team place early in the new year?

What is exciting is that we are starting to talk about McEachran & Jota in this thread
