Assuming Bjelland's out for a little while with a pulled hamstring, I guess that means Dean and Egan will slot back in automatically as our first choice CB pairing.

I think I'd also like to see Jozefzoon start instead of Canos. As much as his youthful eagerness is a delight to watch, I think Jozefzoon is a more intelligent attacker (naturally I guess, given his experience) and is more beneifical to have in the squad for 60 minutes as opposed to just 30 at the end. I think until either one is fully match fit, we're perhaps better off taking advantage of Canos' enthusiasm at the end of the game. A good rotation dilemma to have all the same though.

Also, I'm not sure what others thought, but Henry looked absolutely dead on his feet at the end of the Ipswich game and could barely jog, let alone sprint at full pelt, so perhaps give Field a start again for this one if he's not fully recovered.

Other than that, I imagine the same remaining 8 who started at Ipswich.

Yes, I think Bjelland will be out for a few games but I'd rather like to see Dean and Barbet; "Joanne" looked very sprightly in his 40 minutes at Ipswich and Egan can be rested for Huddersfield.

I had the same dilemma. I thought Barbet was great on Saturday considering that was probably his first game actually at CB in not far off a year? He's definitely too good to be 4th choice and eternally sat on the bench, but at the same time is it wise to rotate your CB pairing too much?

Tough call, but I'd definitely be happy to see him given more minutes.

I like to see Barbet play, but without Josh creating, we seem to create fewer chances and the dead ball opportunities are more significant, so Egan and Dean for me. For the same reason (and with Henry having a lot of game time after a long lay-off) I'd have Field in. I think we'll get a couple of goals from corners/freekicks.

He played 90 minutes, I think, for the B Team last week (and conceded a penalty), so he looked fit enough. My only reasoning is that we'll need a fresh Egan for Saturday.

Dean Smith previously has not picked a player on their first game back from suspension. If he is consistent then it will be Egan and Barbet. I am interested to see if he keeps to this philosophy but not as much as Barbet.

However, I prefer a more masculine nickname for a defender, & I've always gone with "Ken".
