I'll like to know what Bees fans think about Wallys tactics at the moment. After watching the last couple of games it seems as if we are sticking to a 4-4-2 formation but our four midfielders all seem to be in the middle of the park, both Hunt and O'Conner rarely go wide. Against Notts County we seemed to play much better as soon as Willo came on as he gave us some natural width and we started exploiting the spaces on the pitch. When we have four central players there is no room to pass the ball and as soon as we lose it any team that uses the wings have plenty of space to run at out defence.
At home it seems as if we play a diamond formation with Jay Smith as a defensive midfielder and Hutchinson as an attacking midfielder which for me doesn't seem to work. OK we have been successful with it so far but I think we could be in trouble when we play teams like Wigan and Cardiff. What does everyone think? Is there anything that can be improved?
After seeing Fullarton play on Saturday I think he should be given a chance instead of Jay Smith in the next game.

Agree with Smithy maybe being replaced by Fullarton, I like Jay and think he's done really well so far but Fullarton really made a difference against Notts.

Have to disagree with u saying that Hunt drifted infield, for the last 30 mins he hugged the touchline and looked really dangerous IMHO. That was mainly because he got decent passes to his feet, instead of the full backs whacking aimless balls over his head.

yep Have to agree with you fat bee slim here thought Hunt took up great position in the last 3rd on saturday and with Willo on the other side doing the same I thought we showed them up badly...

That's the thing with Hunty if he's not getting the ball out on the left he comes inside trying to get it for himself. Sometimes it leaves Somner very exposed.

I think he's been coming inside alot to help out the inexperience in centre midfield. He said in the Chronicle that he was bringing his experience to the midfield at the age of 22
