Bean was Scott's key man, for CM in the summer, I can't see that changing, on the basis of two poor games. Scott must have faith in his new signings, rather than last year's failed players.
One good game for Pead, shouldn't make him an automatic choice

My points exactly, Bean was AS's main CM choice, where as Pead was told to go away and find a new club. But at least AS has a choice to make this season!

Pead may have played ok v Grimsby, but he isn't my choice for a CM place, IMO.

He has done 3 games this season, with 8 yellow and 1 red. He had 4 yellow in Chester/Wycombe match and 2 yellow in Bradford/Notts County match on top of the 2 yellow and 1 red in Walsall/Darlington cup match.

Since hitting the league he has dished out 335 yellow cards in 114 games, with 117 in one season with 9 reds. On average its been 2.9 yellows a match and 0.2 reds.

Personally, Bean should be on bench with this referee!!!!

Last year at Barnet, there were 7 yellow cards (4 for us) and a red one for Smith for his 2nd booking so on balance I think Mr Drysdale could be comparitively lenient !

Id expect to see Smith and Bean in the middle pf the park, we are now very close to getting out first 11 out. Dickson is the only first team player still injured.

This is great news to hear smith is back
