Team v Hull

Difficult as I don't know how far off Kamo or Benrahma are. If fitt would have thought bench but not starting, so probably have to go with same lineup as last Saturday with Racic replacing Pinnock.

If Benrahma or Kamo are fit ready for an appearance I would put them on bench instead of Valencia and Zamburek.

Unless Pinnock/Kamo/Norgaard/Said are fit enough to start that will surely be the team.

Based on the very little I've seen of both of then, I think I'd prefer Racic to Pinnock.

I can see the benefit in switching to 4-3-3 for this match. Hull's attacking threat mostly comes out wide from Bowen and Grosicki, and they're likely to have a lone striker centrally (Eaves or Dicko). Dalsgaard and Henry could focus on dealing with the wide threat by playing more defensively than their usual wing-back roles, and that would allow us to have an extra attacking player in midfield further up the pitch.

On the other hand, there's an argument not to change a winning team/system from last Saturday - and the 3-4-3 worked very well against Hull at home last season!

Going 4 at the back if Pinnock is unavailable makes sense but I doubt TF is going to change to 4231 rather than 433. I doubt Kamo is ready to return yet as a starter and the club look to be easing Forss in gently with Watkins preferred in the central role. If we are to see a change in personnel from the first two games due to a formation change I reckon it'll be having Benrahma playing in the front three and Marcondes being in the centre of midfield linking between Jensen/Da Silva and attack.

I think he'll stick with 3-4-3; I don't recall him deviating from that since he switched to it back in December last year (I could be wrong).

If Pinnock is out, it wouldn't surprise me if he pushes Dalsgaard into the back 3 and uses Canos as a wing back which will give the line-up a more attacking feel. Then one of Mbuemo or Benrhama taking the other wide attacker role (the latter if he's fit)

Suspect it will be team as per Middlesborough except racic for Pinnock and Thompson on bench rather than Clarke

Same again. Racic for Pinnock if he’s not fit. Hopefully Mokotjo or Norgaard get on the pitch at some stage as one of them will be needed against Leeds.

ie, same as first two league games with straight swap of Racic for Pinnock - this seems highly likely. Subs bench possibly the most interesting thing to watch as will give an indication as to whether Benrahma and Norsgaard are near returning.

Agreed. Team suspect picks itself as even if Thomas wanted to switch to a 4 3 3 he hasn't got any fully fit returning midfield or attacking players to come in. Sounds as though Norgaard not there yet so unlikely to see him feature but possible Benrahma and Kamo could be on bench.

One thing I'm worried about in this game is Jared Bowen.

I'm not sure Jeanvier at LCB with Henry banging on down the wing is really enough to deal with him defensively. I'd honestly be tempted to put Racic on the left, where he was against Cambridge and see how he manages it. Have to say I was very impressed with Henrik at CB on Tuesday as well.

I'd be really excited if we lined up with

Probably this - I'd like to see Mbuemo start but maybe we feel he needs more time off the bench at the moment. With a bit of luck either Kamo or Norgaard on the bench for some cover - I'd say a week too early for Said but hopefully he will make the bench at Charlton.

That ^ seems by far the most likely side.

However I maintain my personal preference for 4-3-3 so:
