With Elder out, and the fact that I have fears over McDonalds confidence after his miss at Lincoln. I have decided to bring back Poole, to add more goals to the team. I am playing Williams up front as I have a horrible feeling we won't sign Bowditch or any one else. So with that in mind.

That miss was not a 'confidence' thing - it was a 'frozen-hard pitch and ball bouncing up' thing.

Anyway, your team is not bad; the only question is about Poole replacing Wood. I'd go for Wood away and Poole at home, personally.

While I can see your logic, as we'd be stronger defensively. I think Macclesfield are so poor, and like to put ten men behind the ball. So Poole could be more effective.

On the other hand it was a great one two between Poole and Wood against them at home that led to the goal, so maybe rest Dickson

That's what I think it will be, personally I would have Newton in place of Osborne and get Johnson on the bench somewhere.
