Team v. Millwall

As Andy has been out of the office this week, he has asked us to pick the team tomorrow, your choices please;

Price
Foster Wilson Bennett Dickson
Saunders Bean O'Connor Weston
Cort MacDonald

Once Strev is fully fit though I would start him up top with CC.

Can't really disagree with that team. I would like to see Karleigh for Bennett but....

If Wood starts ahead of Weston again, I'll have a fit...

lol have to agree though. We need as many attacking options as possible. Weston left wing is a must.

If he played that line-up he'd deserve sacking for his signings... adding three wide MF (2 of them costly) to Wood, and then playing no wide MF. As a formation in itself, there's nothing wrong with it. but IMHO it's not one for our squad

I'd go a for a boring

I know it is unlikely to happen but for me Wood needs a rest, Weston is better as an impact sub and Saunders and Taylor don't deserve a start right now. The wide players have been the biggest dissapointment this season so why play them. It'll give us a bit of protection in the middle of the park and give us a chance of trying Strevens without having to drop Cort or Mac. Worth a try I say.

I reckon that'll be the team that starts tomorrow. I can't see Andy throwing Bostock straight into the starting XI without him having even trained with the squad and although I'd like to see more of the Strevens / Cort Partnership, I'm not sure that Strevens is fit enough to start yet.

I'm sure both will play some part in tomorrow's proceedings though, and it'll be interesting to see whether it's Bean or Kev, Cort or Mac that make way for them.

There's no point getting Bostock if he doesnt play.Spurs wont be happy either I guess if hes bench warming.I know nutting, but it sounds like we're lucky to get this lad who's good enough already to be playing a league higher.

Tempting to throw then both straight in, but it would be good to see who bucks their ideas up knowing that JB/BS are on the bench

I dont think Charlie or Carl have to " buck their ideas up ":nono:

Give some fecking service to the forwards and make sure the back four arent from a pub team!

Whilst Bostock seems high quality he has only just signed and if I heard right coming back from an injury? Be surprised if he starts this game.

Price

Foster Wilson Bennett Dickson

Saunders O'Connor Bean Wood

Cort MacDonald

Can see him keeping with Wood on the left to start this one because of his strength and more physical style. Millwall are a strong team and would likely kick Weston off the park.

:imwith: If it is on at all it will be a tough, muddy, full blooded derby - not the ideal match for a high quality young Attacking Midfielder such as Bostock to start - those that went to the Bradford game last year will rememeber that, despite the exciting finaish, it wasn't one for the purists. He might get on with 15/20 imns left but would imagine a "softer" introduction would be Gateshead on Tues (if allowed to play in the cup)

Agree too that Wood's more physical style would mean he starts

Team v. Millwall

He cant play against Gateshead - even if Spurs let us Cup Tie him (doubtful) as he wasn't at the club at the time of the first match last Saturday.
