I'd go for:

----------------Lee

Spillane--Osborne--Balkestein--Woodman

Wood-----Bean----O'Connor----Weston

---------Simpson--MacDonald

Subs: Hamer, McCracken, Wright, Diagouraga, Grabban, Alexander, Forster

Team Vs Bournemouth

Wright, Legge, Pim, Wood

Grabban, Dave, KOC, Simpson

Charlie, Forster

As there has been a lot of footie lately, maybe he will rest Myles, Woodman and karleigh. Looking at the team ive picked i could be quite far off but i wouldnt be suprised!!

Cant see AS changing much of the team for this game, its not going to be easy.....

To be fair its nice to see that even if we were to change 4 or 5 players from Saturday that on paper the first eleven still look more than capable!!!!

Your probably right but i think there will be a few changes. The team in the space of 14 days has played 4 games of which 3 were away and 1 lasted 120mins. By all rights there paid well enough and have a good job so should be able to play as much as is required and im sure they all want to play with the run we are on at the mo. Maybe Sats game will see a few more changes but i cant see AS risking it as i imagine he would be up for a cup run!!! I will probably get there tonight and the team will be exact same as Exeter minus spillane

After winning 3 games on the bounce in the league and drawing with Birmingham, why would you change the starting 11?

The only change understandable for me would be Wright for Spillane if he's injured, but otherwise you keep it the same.

I agree, unless some players are showing signs of exhaustion. Squad does seem strong - from the players who didn't start on Saturday, you could field
Lee/Wright McCracken Balkestein Blake/Grabban Hunt Diagouraga Saunders/Forster Simpson (leaving out the injured Cort plus Hudson) and I've seen us put out weaker teams than that.

For the JPT next week, I think we should rest as many as the competition rules let us

I can see the 'rest' being given for certain players on Saturday versus Aldershot, certainly shouldn't be tonight

Totally agree. The absolute strongest team possible for league games.

Give players a break in the FA and Paint Pot Cups.

Don't you think Rowlands will be on the right of Dave?

reports down here that Bournemouth are likely to be without both of their centre halfs Ryan Garry & Sean Cooper tonight so I would suggest Alexander as a target man is a must to start

I dont see why so many people disregard the JPT we have a real chance of winning this competition there isnt many times we can say that I would rather rest players for Aldershot at home than Swindon away we are 4 games away from Wembley

Because the JPT has as much stature as a pre-season tournament. Nobody really cares. We should field our 'weakest' possible team (in line with the rules) at Swindon and rest any of our six designated first team players for that match on Saturday. Rotation! :D

That doesn't answer Chopper's question. It just confirms it. The point is, why does it have the stature of a pre-season tournement and why doesn't anybody care?

I agree with Chopper. It's the one competition we have any chance of winning, ever, and so there is surely a logic that says we should be going for it? To me it's a far more relevant tournement to us that the FA or League Cups .
