Bench: Bonham, Henry, Yennaris, Kerschbaumer, Jozefzoon, Jota, Hofmann
Most importanly, Henry needs a rest, Yennaris needs a rest and Jota needs a rest. I can see some raised eyebrows at Barbet in CDM and maybe it's a bit of a knee-jerk reaction of mine after last night, but I honestly think he'd do well there. Yennaris physically can't manage 90 minutes at the moment, so for that reason he simply shouldn't be starting. I'm sure the Brentford doctors know best, but I worry that after a while we'll start to do more harm than good with him. I assume McEachran is still not quite fit enough to start and Reece Cole isn't ready, so that leaves us with little other option. Maybe if it really is the worst experiment of all time then Yennaris can just come on for the second half. If McEachran's fit enough for the bench though, I'd say leave Yennaris at home and use him for that switch. Alternatively we could just leave both at home and have Cole on the bench.
Jota's been anonymous the past 2 games and looks spent, understandably so after playing basically no football at all for about a year before he came back. Leave him on the bench for this one, then restore him to the starting lineup after the international break when hopefully he'll be a little rejuvenated. Clarke's barely played since Jota, Canos and Jozefzoon appeared, so you'd think he'll be desperate to stake a claim and will approach this one with bags of energy.
Hofmann as our striking option on the bench purely by default, but if Smith really has no intention of ever utilising him and would still rather play Canos as a target man, then we might as well leave Hofmann at home too and bring Shaibu back, as he has looked decent in his brief cameos so far.

How about reverting to 3 at the back for this one?
A relatively concise suicide note.

I would start with Cole I place of Sawyers, I think Cole will put more into a game than Sawyers and he pretty good taking free kicks ( another B Squad one yesterday) He would have cover behind with Woods and Barbet

Depends who you listen too.DS said last week that Burton was the game that both Josh & AB should be back for .A poster yesterday suggested an "insider" had said he was 2 weeks away?Who knows? Is Josh likely to be fit in time for sat?
I know the consensus is that this didn't work but given the personnel available plus those needing a break I could possibly be considered. How about reverting to 3 at the back for this one?

Some of the teams on here are absolutely bonkers!
Smith said apart from Jota, fatigue is not an excuse, so how about we only make 1 or 2 changes, and get a reaction from the rest of them, with results/performance stats determining how many days off they have during the International break??

As above but I would put Clarke in from the start and put Jota on the bench, seeing as Smith has said he's knackered.
