Here we go again! Time to give a few players a little rest and give some a bit of game time, keeping within the competion rules. I'd go for: Lee Logan. Legge. Dean. Bidwell. Dallas. Forshaw. Adeyemi. Forrester. Fredericks. Hayes.

I'd like to see Dallas and Fredericks given a go but if Harry starts as well we may be a bit lightweight against a very physical side.

Some of these rules are stupid for fans to have to understand.

The rationale:
. I think Lee, Legge, Barron, Fredericks and Dallas deserve some playing time.
. Out of the 6 I have kept, I think it's important Dean and Legge work on improving their partnership from last season (in case of Craig injury etc), Douglas and Dave were first choice centre mids at the start of the season, but have had dissappionting starts to the season, so this is a chance for them to prove their quality, as Forshaw, Adeyemi and Kev are going to be tough competition. Donaldson and Hayes need to continue to improve their understanding of one anothers games and tuesday provides a perfect opportunity.
. I'd leave a mixture of experienced and development sqaud players on the bench. If we are winning comfortably, we can give the development players a run out, if the situation is more precarious, we can utilise our more experienced players to help get our name into the hat for the next round.

Basically with Forshaw and Forrester's fitness problems, I'd leave them out altogether, and also I'd only play 1 of our 2 fit strikers. I think Douglas could do with a rare rest too.

If Saunders is still injured, I'd play Adeyemi with Douglas on the bench instead.

JPT Selection Rules:

(a) A Club must include in its starting line-up at least 6 out of the 11 players who started the Club fixture immediately preceding or following the relevant Johnstone's Paint Trophy fixture; or

(b) A Club must include in its starting line-up at least 6 out of 11 players who have made the most starting appearances in League and domestic Cup competitions fixtures during that season.

For the avoidance of doubt, the two tests are mutually exclusive. A club may not apply part (a) and part (b) together, eg, three players from the immediately preceding or following club fixture plus three players with the most appearances.

A maximum of five substitutes may be named.

Tricky as a few definitely need game time but its a very winnable game and with Swindon already out we should probably be one of the favourites in the entire southern section

Saw Alfie Mawson play against Hitchin pre season, the boy looked very useful. I'd to see him get at least half a game.

Squad rotation is bollox. It should be in player's contacts that in order to earn thousands of quids a week, they must be physically capable of playing football twice a week without getting too tired. Is it any wonder only a thousand people turn up to support this competition if teams insist on playing five reserves? Either start taking it seriously or scrap it, that's what I say :yes:.

Same winning team as Saturday please. We ain't going up but we'll finish comfortably. So let's win a trophy ffs. Let's have a day out at Wembley - a winning one for a change - and let's come out of this season with a few memories :thetruth:.
