Team vs Crawley

Whilst I agree with you on this Nick, I get the feeling the end of the World could be nigh and you'd still be saying "No fear, game will be on" :)

 fair point but it seems these days every game we have these debates between November and March

We are fortunate to have two hugely talented players. Not sure I agree that Forshaw has better movement and vision although he probably shades it on technique. IMO where Mac leaves him behind is experience and sheer physical aggression. When/if it hits the fan, you want Mac in mid IMO. Hopefully both will play at a higher level with us next season. Pick three from Dougie, Mac, Saville and Forshaw. On paper Saville gets nudged but IMO his recent performances have been superb and I wouldn't drop him. No harm in Adam Forshaw realising he has to fight to get his place back which he will.

Douglas tired badly in the closing stages of last season. He hasn't played as many games this season but he's not as young as he was and it might be wise to use him sparingly. I also think it would be good to find room for Saunders, including a slot in the starting line-up, as often as possible.

Has Judge left the equation then?

No. I took it as a given that he'd be wide left. Agree with you that Judge has proved an excellent acquisition, clearly a Championship quality player.

Douglas was carrying a knock through the end of last season rather than tiring. I suspect that Warburton will make use of substitutions to fully deploy his squad. IMO the strenGth of the squad will be huge for us in the run in. Everyone has a squad but it's about strength in depth. If a player starts to dip, he can be subbed or simply left out next time without weakening the team.

Agree with this 100%...and yes JD was struggling badly with an injury. The last time he could play any sort of game effectively was against MK away.

He's sort of wide left, roaming midfield who drives to the box asap. Very difficult to play against. Should we (when we) get tothe The Championship would love to have him signed up.

If Douglas isn't 100% fit, surely there are enough other options for the centre of the park?

He didn't tire, he was carrying a serious injury that required an op but tried to play through it until he was physically unable.
