I agree about Pooley :sorted:but not at the expense of Ryan Dickson :nono::nono:He is one of the best we have got IMHO

With another game in 48 hours of the last I would not be surprised if AS used his squad a bit.

Poole could come in for Wood who has run his heart out last two games, right sided midfield is other possible slot to change as Williams might be knackered..perhaps one of the loanees getting a run out?

Don't think AS will change the defence, its' in too good form to mess about with it.

It wil be the same i'd have thought as Boxing Day, but i'd like to see Poole get on this time!, he looked a bit pi$$ed off on Boxing Day warming up. Especially when Scannell came on and he didn't!

Id like to see a change at RB, Osborne is good in the air, but thats about it. His distribution is shocking, Shocking probly isent even the word for it.

Wood has played very well over the last few games and has ran his socks off, so i think he needs a rest and see if Poole can fight for his place againe.

If everyone is fit, why try and fix it if it aint broke?

Same starting 11. The only one would could get on the bench is Odhiambo but I would leave well alone.

Interesting that still Karleigh gets slated, yes his distribution was not the best but interestingly a hell of a lot better than Bennett managed. People on here would seem to want to flog the family jewells ( if we had any) to keep Bennett and yet constantly denegrate the performance of Karleigh who has considerably less experience.

Yesterday Karleigh covered all the other defenders, even ending up at left back after Woods and Dickson had both managed to get out of position, he was the first to many headers in the box and for a defender surely that is the first essential requirement.

He is not yet the finished article and is still learning, the difference now is that he is learning in a team that has confidence in their collective abilities to defend. I was slated some time ago for saying that I honestly beleive that eventually Karleigh will prove a very solid defender with great pace who will be wanted by other clubs, whether he develops with us might just depend how much of his confidence is knocked by the seemingly large number of Karleigh critics at Brentford.

I will wager that in the fullness of time Karleigh will end up playing at a higher level than Bennett who is soild but a foul waiting to happen.

KO has done well since returning from his loan period, i'm not a big fan of his but credit where it's due he has come back in with confidence and a bit more maturity, as for saying he had a mare and distribution was poor, then people need to look at probably 5 or 6 of the team yesterday too,

As i said above and NLB reiterated, no changes, same as, keep it up lads.

Seems like you, me and Andy Scott are the only ones who think like that!

I couldn't agree with you more WP.
(WP swoons, because Wayfarer agrees with him for once)
The lad has come back from his loan period with his confidence improved.
Dont knock him down again now.:sorted:

Re Osborne vs Halls.

Theres no doubt Halls is more talented then Osborne.

But Osborne attitude is so much better. Halls pisses about too much and puts us in trouble because of it. Shrewsburys goal came out of a needless foul, and numerous other times his pissing about has put us right in the crap e.g. Notts County. If sticking his arse on the bench for a few games, doesn't make him realise where he is nothing will and he should jog on.

Leave it unchanged. The way I see it is the 11 that started against B'muff have currently earned their shirts. When injuries, suspensions or a poor performance occurs others will get their chance and it's then down to them to keep the shirt. If aint broken don't try and fix it.

Much of what you have to say about Karleigh I agree with but to slate Bennett oh no:nono::nono:that man has been a rock for us and I for one will be very disappointed if we dont get him to stay for the rest of this season at least, has he had 1 bad game for us ?? I dont think so, I do think Karleigh will develop but with the likes of Mr Bennett to guide him that development will be faster

Bowditch will be a lucky bloke to get a start after yesterday. However the options are..?
The left side is taken care and Poole has a bench warmer again unless we throw him in behind Charlie Mac.

Karleigh Osborne

I'd like to join the KO debate. My son asked me in the pub after the Bournemouth "stroll" who was the best player I'd seen in a Brentford shirt. I replied "Mel Scott" (whom we signed from Chelsea many years ago). I warmed to the subject by continuing: "He was so good, that when he was dispossessed (as the last man) by an opposing forward, he actually laughed as he chased his opponent, who was bearing down on Brentford's goal. Scott was so quick that he caught his man with ease, took the ball off of him, and cleared the danger without any trouble."

Guess who did that against Bournemouth? Yes, Karleigh Osborne. The only difference was, he didn't laugh before catching the winger!

Give the lad a chance. If he could get some confidence, he may yet make the Bees a lot of money.
