Team Vs Exeter
Team virtually picks itself in many positions.
Moore's kicking performance yesterday should see Lee back in goal. If Logan is fit he starts ahead of Thompson. Bidwell plays no decision to be made there. Legge plays. Argument for Osborne to partner Legge if match fit otherwise Dean plays.
Douglas and Forshaw have to play. Berahino has to play with Alexander. Other 2 midfield/wide spots are up for grabs. Personally I'd give them to Dave and Forrester but that won't happen.

Time to start blooding some of the kids in my view. Bring in Reeves, the young keeper, Norris Oyeleke, German et al and send back all the loanees (at least those that won't upset relations with the parent club). Gotta be all about next season now.

Stupid idea. We're only a few points off the playoffs, we have to try to get as many points as possible. Now isn't the time to just give up on the season and play all the youngsters, there's 14 games left, if we play the team you suggest for the rest of the season we'll end up finishing lower mid table near the relegation zone with crowds less than 4k. Finish the season strongly, try and finish as high as possible, finish 7th or 8th full of confidence sets us up better for next season rather than just giving up now and finishing 16-17th. Playoffs look unlikely, but I'm sure notts county fans said the same thing two weeks ago and look where they are now.

You just cannot send back loanees! Unbelievable. You can upset clubs quite easily sending back players. If we did, WBA, Everton, Watford, Southampton and Celtic will just say F off......

Those who spent their hard earned cash turning up to support have a right to expect the manager to field the strongest available XI. Can you imagine what would happen if he fielded the players you suggest against a team like Sheffield Utd and we were subsequently whopped by 4 or 5 ? There'd be uproar and rightly so, and the people to come out of it worst would be the youngsters themselves.

Ok, perhaps my argument was pitched on the extreme side, but you get my sentiment?
I just think we should start planning for next season and look at assessing what we have available from our own resources. Sure, throwing in 5 youngsters at once would probably be a disaster, but I seem to remember us beating Yeovil with Reeves in the side and it didn't do Fergie any harm when he picked the youth back in the day. That is all.

I think you will find thats what the "Development squad" is for, to Develop our own youngsters, throwing them all in at the deep end would be a total disaster as well as for their moral if we get thumped, I hear where you are coming from, but all at once, that's a no no, I would like to think we could make the play offs, but being a realist after supporting the Bee's for over 60 years I now think it's past us, Yes by all means blood a few youngsters, but only one at a time to see how they perform on the "big" stage, like many years of following them I have seen it all, there is no quick fix solution.

I know it's unlikley to happen, but I do think you can only start planning for next seasons division once you have 50 plus points, then not all youngester in one go, because a few losses could ruin them going forward, especially if a vocal crowd are on their backs.

With present injuries we have pim woodman and leon for defence. Pim not interested and leon somewhat indifferent in recent games. Go on lets return the loanees and play our kids and then see gpg in meltdown. I despair at times

Just look at poor Oyeleke v MK Dons. Sadly he got caught out and it probably didn't do him any good in playing those 45 minutes. Rosler has done well in giving the younger players a taste of first team football, when they're ready, they'll get more game time. There is a difference in quality of the players from the Prem and Championship, we have on loan, to ours.

Team news ahead of Tuesday night's League One clash between Brentford and Exeter at Griffin Park.
Brentford will check on Toumani Diagouraga and Shaleum Logan.
Boss Uwe Rosler expects Diagouraga to shake off the knock which forced him to miss Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Yeovil, while right-back Logan is edging closer to a return following a hamstring injury.
Diagouraga's return will be welcome as fellow midfielder Marcus Bean is still missing with an ankle problem and club captain Kevin O'Connor remains sidelined with a foot injury.
Youngsters Jake Bidwell and Saido Berahino were rested at the weekend following international duty and could be back in the starting line-up.
Rosler started with Simon Moore in goal despite regular number one Richard Lee being fit after illness so the manager has a decision to make.

Subject to Diagourra and Logan not recovering this will mean the following are out due to injury: Egar, Kev, Bean, Karleigh,Logan and Dave leaving ( not including keepers) Thompson,( according to Rosler not fully fit) Legge, Woodman, Pim, Bidwell, Saunders, Douglas, Forshaw, McGinn, Forrester, Reeves Weston, Clayton, Baranio and Alexander I think as available for selection, Please then bear in mind the 5 loanee rule and I can see a few headaches in team selection and the possibility that Woodman may have to play just to give some flexibiloity

Forrester IMO can be our best player but we never play him?! And if he's just returned from injury, hasn't he played for the development squad recently? McGinn should be nowhere near the starting lineup. I also don't like 4-3-3, with that being said, it's not a bad side considering we need to rest players etc etc but if we don't win tonight, Rosler is going to looking a fool.

Decent line-up... the Bees Player commentators see McGinn up front of the diamond. Forshaw jumped to mind for me...am I missing something?
But if so it will be interesting seeing what McGinn could do in a position like that. I know a lot of people have ruled him out but I'm still willing to give him a chance, especially in a new position.
