I find it hard to believe Maupay won't start in the middle of the attacking three. The question is about the fitness of Dalsgaard and Jozefzoon but they didn't feature in the B Team, so I'd guess they'll not be starters.

I doubt it as would otherwise have got some b team minutes under belt

I think Dean will play with Sawyers as a false 9. Don’t think they will risk Lasse and Maupay likely to be used from bench. Personally i would give Josh Mc a start in this instance with maybe Nico getting a breather and Mokotjo playing more of a box to box role.

Bentley would start surely? Although this is your opinion, so fair enough

I feel we can't leave Sawyers out. He is just too good making or scoring goals. Perhaps he keeps his place and Maupay stays on the side.

Tough decision whether to go with Maupay or Sawyers up top, would be happy with either.

On the bench for me. Will keep Sergi & Ollie on their toes & no need to rush him back. DS rarely makes more than a couple of changes, & few when the team has won. Maupay to come back in for someone!

Interested to read Judge confirm that we no longer play with a ‘No.10’, & he was having to learn to be a ‘No.8’. Other than both positions were ‘inside forwards’ in olden days, can anyone enlighten me? Or is he just being ‘oirish’?

You mean what are the numbers 8 and 10? (actually no that's a true philosophical question)
What positions they are on the pitch?
8 is box to box methinks typically, I. E. Nico role, whereas a 10 plays as the middle of a three behind the striker.

Nor can I......although DS has had a funny habit of doing what I'd been suggesting a few games later (despite people usually telling me it's madness). So you never know ;)

That with Kamo for Josh at the start. It worked fantastically well against Fulham second half so why change just because Maupay is back from suspension?
