Of course not. I think DS will go for the natural option up top though. For me RS was in poor form and being dropped for the QPR game and for the start of the Fulham games looks to have got him back on track with two good displays bar one tackle.
I would rather him in the side behind the front man but who gets dropped from that three? Tough calls and will only get harder with the players coming back from injury.

It was either QPR or Fulham as we took the old man away for his 60th. I passed on the ST. So gutted.

No way would I change the midfield three so it’s a straight choice between Sawyers or Maupay up front. As I said earlier on this thread I’d be happy with either.

It was a great result against Fulham. However it wasn't a great first half and IMO Yennaris wasn't at his best. I'd start with Sawyers in mid instead of Yennaris with Maupay in for Vibe.

20 players can travel to Away games. You never know with injuries. They also take B team players to get into the regime of what it’s like too.

I think Smith has settled upon the solidity of Woods, Kamo, Nico as the preferred midfield in tough northern aways.
Canos and Watkins have to start even if we can’t get 90 mins from Sergi (I read that he’s only played 90 mins 4 times for us- is that right?).
The only query is whether to start Maupay or Sawyers. Normally it’d be a no brainer to play the only fit striker we have but I suspect that Sawyers might draw Hull’s defence out as he’s less likely to be niggling away at the centre backs than Maupay. That might make more space for the wide players to get forward into crossing positions and for players to be hunting for crosses and rebounds as against Fulham. Then Maupay can come on to rub salt in their wounds later on.

Would agree with this. Nico's been off form recently and with the quality of players we have in reserve you can't expect to keep your place if you let your form drop..
