Team vs Leeds
Right, time for us to have a go at being a knee-jerk makeshift manager after a 0-4 defeat. lol
IMHO drastic change isn't needed and our formation has worked pretty well thus far, but we have to make ourselves less predictable to the opposition.
FWIW, I'd go for:
Button
Odubajo Tarkowski Craig Bidwell
McCormack Douglas
Gray Judge Pritchard
Betinho
. I was one of those who never wanted Craig dropped after the B'ham game. A steady, dependable presence at the back trusted by his colleagues. He has to come back in the side IMHO.
. McCormack and Douglas with Judge given a more free role in front when on the ball but helping out these two when we're not in possession, gives our midfield a much more solid look and we're less likely to be overrun on the counter.
. I think Pritchard and Gray could cause all sorts of problems on for defenders on the flanks. The former with his skill and trickery; the latter with his pace and rawness. Indeed, a right flank with Gray and Odubajo overlapping could frighten the life out of teams. Moreover, both have the pace and workrate to track back. I understand those who say Moses is wasted at RB, but until Nico is fit he is the best option in that position.
. I liked what I saw from Betinho's cameo against Norwich. He seem to have all round strikers attributes and the little man won more headers in that 15 minutes than Proschwitz has won since he arrived at the club. Only the management know if he's match fit but if so, definitely worth a go IMHO.
We all know :warbs: will sort it out, but until Saturday, let the 'right' team and formation speculation begin!
