I bet none of us will get it right, but at least now we can speculate. For me, assuming Benrahma is not yet available:

Probably the same actually...maybe Jensen instead of Moko.

Subs (you forgot Canos ;)) though of: Daniels, Racic, Thompson, DaSilva, Jensen/Kamo, Forss, Canos.

With Benrahma and Valencia to return to the squad for next time. The bench is certainly starting to look stronger than Birmingham.

Think we will put their new expansive football to the test by pressing them hard and quickly in their half. They shipped 3 goals against Championship newbies and think they aren’t familiar enough yet with their style to execute it effectively

Off topic, but I wonder if we will see a strong squad for the League Cup fixture as TF tries to bed in players and get the team to gel. Yes, there's a risk of injury, but I would see this as an opportunity to get the side playing together and get to grips with our system(s), especially the players who missed our pre-season.

I can only hope that the lack of a focal point in attack will lead to the front 3, maybe with one or more from the midfield, to play together as a group of number 10's, in the way that Man City do. That means all of them stepping up and taking responsibility but mainly focusing on the decision-making of moving into space, passing or shooting. We've got the numbers for them to work themselves into the ground and be replaced, to keep the tempo up. It's the only way we can succeed with the personnel we've got.

I like this assuming Benrahma is not fully fit. However, I would play Mokotjo instead of Norsgaard, as he will bring energy and bite to the midfield as well as being a goal threat.

I'd prefer Said to skip this match as the risk of injury due to poorly timed tackles by lower lg players in a cup tie wouldn't justify playing him on the grounds of 'match fitness'. Let him get upto speed in training and hold him back for the vital upcoming lg fixtures.

I hope a fair few of the squad players will start in the Carabao Cup anyway.
