Agree with all that. but I'm prepared to bet that the likes of Watkins, Benrahma and Rico will start every one of those games, barring injury. We could really do with being 2 or 3 up in a game with 30 left and then make a few changes. That's just greedy though!

Not so sure about Rico, but you are probably correct. Rico covers far more miles than the other two...

Yes, it's a risk with Rico, particularly with his injury record. I just think we are severely weakened without him there.

It was Notts Forest (which sadly, I had the misfortune to go to - we didn't look like scoring all night). To be honest, apart from thrashing a very poor Hull team, we rarely looked good after that cup game, scraping a home win against Boro, drawing too many games, losing to Luton, then thrashing the Owls.

However, this is different; there will be no wholesale changes like there were for the Leicester game. The squad has also benefited from 3 months rest. Thomas simply does not do mass rotation in the league. I expect one or two changes at most.

Ah yes, the Forest game. Probably one of the least enjoyable game I've watched in years. And not just because of the score line.

It mirrored the away fixture, unfortunately. Just hope we don't get them in the play-offs.

Thomas will get the team right again. Only he knows who is fit and healthy. Who needs a rest etc. What we definitely need from all 11 - 16 players, is exactly the same intensity, discipline, energy and concentration as in the last two fixtures. If we take Reading lightly (I'm sure we won't) we could easily live to regret it. This is the same for all remaining 7 fixtures. Quality going forward is a given, by the way.

Totally agree, we need to take Reading just as seriously as Fulham/WB. We're going to be playing quite a lot of relegation contenders towards the end of the season who will play us like it's a cup final, so we really need to be on it!

Madness. One of the most important things in football is momentum. We have it more than any team in the league. Hold on to it tightly.

I'd argue Wigan and Derby had more momentum - as the form table shows but do agree. Let's get two goals up and then make subs earlier, would love to be in that position and get Halil on for Watkins.

I'd LOVE a comfortable victory here.

Get Halil on for Watkins
Fosu back on, maybe for Said? But he never gets subbed
Kamo on for Norgaard would be a nice one too

The importance of our physios in this run-in cannot be underestimated. Hopefully, both Josh and Jensen have recovered.

no point rushing them back with so many games coming up and when we have very good replacements. I would be surprised to see Jensen but DaSilva just looked like cramp so he should be fine.

Often this season when there’s been 3 games in a week we’ve rested Henrik and Pontus on at least one occasion.

Perhaps we will see JJ and/or MR in some capacity?

Earlier in the season we seemed to rest players more often away from home (particularly Jansson), presumably to ensure we had our strongest team available to win as many home games as possible, while accepting that we might naturally drop points away from home anyway.

Now we're almost secure in the play-offs, I wonder whether that strategy might flip round - i.e. we rest players in home games that we should be winning, while fully charging up our squad to pick up the points away from GP?

Of course that doesn't take into account any changes to the usual home/away differences caused by playing behind closed doors.
