Now everyone has finished their WC stint hopefully with no injury worries, I can't see any reason to change a team that Outplayed, Outclassed and Outscored City, Perhaps change the bench to include Hickey, Janson and Norgarrd if they are fit. ?

Assuming there are no further injuries or illnesses affecting the squad before this game, we know:

- Ajer won’t be available.

- Strakosha, Jansson, Hickey, Baptiste and Goode are all somewhere in the recovery process from injury, and it is hard to say which of them will be fit enough to play this game.

- Janelt was carrying something as well towards up until the break for the WC. Hopefully he hasn’t needed surgery or some other treatment that requires a recovery period that will make him unavailable too.

- It is entirely possible that we will be without Ivan Toney due to suspension.

Difficult therefore to know the makeup of the squad.

Raya, Mee, Pinnock, Henry, Nørgaard, Jensen, Mbeumo are all likely to start.

The other 4 starters + bench will depend on who is available and whether or not we go to 3-5-2.

Goes without saying Toney plays if he can, and it’ll be some combination of Roerslev and/or Hickey on the right.

They all get back in for me if 100% fit and ready, nobody will have played for 4-5 weeks anyway so its not like they are any less match ready. I would never play Mads ahead of Hickey especially against the diving Richarleson or Son.

I would be amazed if the whole investigation, appeals precess and ban was completed in less that 2 weeks with Xmas in-between. I reckon we are looking at 4-6 months before a ban judging on previous investigations.

It may be a bit earlier but with England out of the WC I'd like to start thinking about this one....

- With Ajer injured, and Hickey a doubt, it seems Roerslev will continue at RB/RCB.
- The big decision at the back is whether or not to bring Jansson back in ahead of Mee. I have always said that the captain has to play, but I'm swaying towards Mee at the moment.
- Norgaard and Jensen are shoe-ins for the midfield.
- Who takes that third midfield sport alongside them is up for debate; Onyeka, Janelt and Dasilva - there is a case for all of them. I think I'd lean towards Onyeka given current form and the opposition. Baptiste is probably behind those three in the pecking order (if fit).
- Toney unless suspended (seems unlikely at this point) obviously plays. I would consider Mbeumo very likely to start too.
- The other wide position is trickier. Frank has bounced between Wissa, Canos, Lewis-Potter and Damsgaard a fair bit. I think Sergi is the most likely to put in the running off the ball so I will go for him.

I think it's a 5 at the back fixture personally. I don't think it's fair to change anyone from the City game but Norgaard and Pontus are shoe ins for me so come straight back in. Some may think we should go 433 because we're at home but I think they'll have most the ball and 532 works better on the break (like seen at Citeh). Do remember Spurs are 4th in the league and have some world class players (and manager).

Not sure about us should be full strength but I assume they’ll be without lloris, Romero, richarlison , perisic and with any luck Kane.

Kane will start.

Ben Davies likely will start but missed the Nice friendly with injury.

Lloris will be on the bench (Forster will start). Romero won't play, Richarlison is injured. Perisic will be on the bench. Bentacur is suspended.

They still have a really capable XI though, and very dangerous front 3.

For us, I thought Pontus was fit? If so I would put him straight in to the back 3.
