Terriers!

Good Morning everyone. A dull, overcast and showery day forecast here in West Yorkshire, although it's meant to be about 21c.

The last day of the season's usually a bit special, even when there's little to play for but this time we have the play-offs to look forward to obviously and it would be nice to finish off the season unbeaten in 25 games. So perhaps it's not all doom and gloom. However, I'm still disappointed that it's not a going to be a bright, fresh, 'shirt sleeves' type day.

I don't expect many Bees will be travelling up for this one? Only the die-hards? Which again is disappointing, a decent away following usually helps to lift the atmosphere at the Galpharm. I need to go into work for a couple of hours this morning but I'm hoping to leave about 1pm. Then it's a quick pint or two in the 'Spoons' on Park Row in Leeds while watching Leeds Utd get a hammering on TV at Loftus Road, then on to Hudders by train.

Like I say, it feels like a none event, anti climax game really but no doubt a few jars will help lift the spirits before kick off. Safe journey to those who are mad enough to travel!;)

Thanks. If you can let us know what you're having for lunch, when you have a dump and drop a quick note in here when you arrive, that'll be great.

lol

I always like to give a little pre-match report, it sort of helps to set the scene, as it were.

But then again... if you're not interested???... Would you rather me say we're going to batter your lads 6-0.;)

Oh well, as my mum always says, there's nowt wrong wi being nice!:sorted:

Terriers!

Have you had a dump yet? I just did one - stool looked fine.

Terriers!

Don't listen to nasty Les. He is nothing but a big bully.
Have a good day mate. Probably a good thing there is nowt to play for as it means your arseholes (there is that brentford anal fixation again ;) ) are less likely to have a pop at all and sundry in red and white. I predict 177 Bees. (would be 178 but druggie nick will fall asleep in the pub)

Terriers!

dull, overcast and showery up north, wonders never cease.....

Terriers!

Huddersfield need to score about 23 goals today .Wonder what the odds are on that ?

Terriers!

I'll be at this game in the home end with the gf :(

Terriers!

I don't think going in the home end's such a great idea mate to be honest.

Two reasons: 1. IF the stadium stewards 'spot you' they'll report you the nearest old bill police and you could miss the game and/or 2. IF our crowd 'spot you' it could get a bit silly. Depends on how much you like your looks!;) If you see what I mean?

Judging by past comments your fans don't exactly like the treatment they've had at the Galpharm on previous visits either, with our knobheads trying to cause trouble etc. So I'd advise you to go with your lot mate. :sorted:

Terriers!

lordy. i thought i was henpecked! what a loser sorry mate! tell her you are in away end like it or lump it. unless you are going out with keeley obviously.

Terriers!

The club is allowing our fans in the same Stand as the Bees fans for this game! Partitioned off of course but it does mean our lot are very close to yours. To be honest with you most of ours in that Stand are the younger end and are all mouth more than anything but they do get very silly at times. The ones to 'watch out for' are in the Direct Golf Lower - to the left of where your fans are seated. Older and even sillier at times.

All that said I can't see there being any problems today. It's a something of a nothing game for both teams.;)

You probably will. you were lucky to steal the points at gp. and you were lucky. I hope you win the playoffs. not because I like you, but you big mouthed hudders fans piss most of us off down here. You are what most of us bees fans do not like. Smug, Arrogant, too big for this league type. Although I can't blame you. It must be where your from. Because Leeds are just like you Read your post again, it says it all. Fair play to you though Ace, your not a bad bloke.

Corrected for you.

If he keeps quiet he will be fine or does having 2 eyes give him away?

Well, who would have predicted that? 4-4?

Your lads played some pretty good stuff too. We looked like we were in second gear most of the match and when we 'upped it' we scored. As I said before hand, it was a 'nothing' sort of game and to be honest it was played more at a practice match tempo but it was entertaining enough. Not wishing to take anything away from your boys but from our point of view we gifted you at least two of those goals, which isn't great going into a play off sequence. Prior to yesterday our defence had looked very assured and solid.. Arr well...! A terrific effort by those who traveled too by the way. Well done!

Have a great Summer:sorted:

Cheers! The truth is we've drawn waaaaay too many games particularly at home and it's cost us an automatic promotion place. Up until the New Year our away form was pretty average too but we tightened it up and went on this incredible unbeaten run. However, your boys up front yesterday showed exactly what we lack - pace at the back! 'IF' we win the play-off lottery (please dear God!) our defence will need some serious reviewing. Big Jamie McCombe is adequate at this level but he'll get roasted if we go higher and Pete Clarke can't do everything on his own. We'll see!:sorted:
