Terry was very pleasant and when I asked him about his number 2 he said he had several individuals in mind and one of them was a premership player and would be one of the biggest signings in Brentfords history.

Ace Face is a personal friend and regularly goes drinking with him so I guess it must be. :confused:

Would have Partick Thistle given their consent?

If, big if, it is him - he probably has an out with Partick that allows him to take a Manager's job elsewhere is offered.

He is signed til the end of the season and is not there to take up the Manager's post, no reason why he could not look elsewhere as detailed on many websites

he is currently only doing a supporting role with jimmy bone at ptfc

oh god i prefer the dufus on the smillie with the fishing cap than the geordie one now...but oh how he did it in 1996...and I was in a pub in deepest darkest Dumfries and Galloway that day....memories!

Just got off the phone to Terry and Pat and they are still very much up for the fun of being at Brentford FC.

I did suggest Bob Booker as his No 2 and he said does he drink and play cards?????:confused:

He was very not committal and would only give cryptic clues to his plans such as:
"Rogers a Dickin a Dyke on a Heath must be Herting"
