So we're wearing it TWICE then, at Bournemouth & at home to Oldham.
Why not wear it v Creepy Crawley in the JPT instead just to get it out of the way?
For ****s sake the one game I can go to for two months and we wear that piece of sh*t. I will be embarssed to see us play a home game in that.

Its only a shirt.
I would go to Brentford to watch the team play, not what shirts we play in. Its a one off (happening twice actually lol) so its not like it is a permanent change. Just get behind the team and sing your hearts out! No one would care if we smash both of these teams would they.

You're quite right and we can all live with it for a couple of games but that doesn't change the fact that it's bloody horrible.

Along with the current home kit, it's not the best design, but to highlight the good that the BFC Community Trust has done, it's worth it for two matches!

It's no worse than the new home kit, which incidentally I forgot all about 5 minutes into the first home game of the season by the way.
Bought my 8 year old son the new away kit as he preferred it to the home kit, he really really wants last years away kit. I will see if he likes the silver one as it is for a good cause etc.

It commemorates something we are proud of so let's get over it.... if you really knew, respected and understood the work the Trust does I'm not sure you'd be throwing the toys out the pram about the one match you can get to etc etc etc

Funny I was only thinking the other day what strip we would wear at Bournemouth. Both our home and away strip's would clash with Bournemouth, so I guess this was deemed to be a good alternative. I shall look forward to seeing what it's like.

Marky it's vile - the shirt looks tacky in my opinion.
As for the second part of your comment, what ever mate, how has it got anything to do with my view on the trust? I don't like the shirt and I don't agree with us playing at home in a different colour simples!
There are plenty of ways we could pay respect to it, (we could have made the away kit the Trust commemorative shirt if we wanted for the whole season ala the blue and yellow for the 100 year anniversary). If Brentford are at home they should play in Red and White end of.

I thought the silver kit looked horrible in the shop. However, on Tuesday night, I thought it looked ok. Pleasantly surprised.

My son has been wearing the kit with pride last season for BFC ATP and he fully understands the high esteem the BFC CCST is held in our community.
Our community schemes are fantastic and make me more proud of Brentford Football Club than some over paid superstars who rarely deliver.
There will be a lot of future fans at GP against Oldham and I really hope they all have a great day and get the bug.
I think this is a superb way of celebrating our CCST.

My eldest son Stephen has the silver shirt and loves it. It's been made even more special by the fact it was obtained for him (as a Christmas present from my dad) by my late Aunt Mary who passed away in July who loved this club.
I personally love silver kits & IMHO it is far better than the home kit. I've seen the Bournemouth pics & the whole kit looks fab. That's quite apart from the brilliant scheme that the shirt represents 25 years of.

Like others, I thought it wouldn't look that good, but was surprised at how good it did look.
Also take on the point of another poster when they say the back of the home shirt should have been
