Well, if he will insist on driving a SMART car with 3 up, what does he expect? Suggest they dump it in the car park of the local services and track down the nearest Eddie Stobart driver.

Latest news.

Glow plug problem. Car not going anywhere until its on the way to a VW garage on the back of a tow truck. Plan B is in force, taxi to Preston Station, train to Barrow, back to GP on team coach where there is erm.......no onward transport so any volunteers to meet them around 3.30am at GP and take them to 1) Chorleywood 2) Uxbridge 3) Purley will be rewarded with a replica home shirt signed by all three directors.

I'm sitting in Kingston laughing my socks off. I don't care about the three directors but they've got Charlie MacDonald, Marcus Bean, Ryan Dickson and Ben Hamer with them.

Until late yesterday afternoon I was gonna be travelling with them today but I had too much to do after the BFC board meeting so I passed. I've just spoken to Bee H and they're waiting for the tow truck to turn up.I've passed on your offer and he thanks you very much and will get back to me if they have a problem with train to Barrow. Can you PM me with a mobile number in case they need to reach you and also I have told them that your offer includes taking Bee H back to Uxbridge after the match.

Always thought Bee H was in the AA.

I know Bee H is acting free of charge for BFC, but is he moonlighting for National Express?

:sorted: They're currently on a train due at Barrow 18.26pm. I've just texted them to say match is off due to floodlight failure. I haven't laughed so much since my gran caught her tits in the mangle.

That train has got to be delayed hasn't it? This is the BFC re-make of Clockwise - David Heath as John Cleese. Is Eddie Rogers dressed as a schoolgirl by any chance?

That sought of idea, only has a place in a Stephen King novel.

Surely as you didnt make Barrow you can act as the taxi service when and if they return.

You never know they may like Barrow so much they stay.

The only consolation was that we were in the car park of a blimmin lovely gastropub when the car wouldn't start - "ah well, best go back in the pub to wait for roadside assistance !" http://www.themulberrytree.info/

Good weekend all, roll on Accy Stanley to get last night out of our system :sorted:

How ironic that Mr Herting & Mr Rogers nearly destroy the club I love so much and then blag a lift with threats of violence off a real fan.:nono:;):fishing::fishing:

Good job you didn't wait until tomorrow to collect it on the way to the match

'er indoors doesn't watch Sky Sports - I've not said anything about the game being off so I coould disappear out of the house at 9am and return at 10pm - a day of peace and tranquility would therefore lie ahead (otherwise known as a "no nagging zone") ! :sorted:

She won't believe you - I've just negotiated supplying BeeH with a couple of pics showing him examining a frozen pitch at Accy :sorted:

"Well dear, I'm gutted, all that way just to be hit with a real sudden snowstorm and drop in temperature - look at me in the piccy there ! Anyway, did you have a nice day apart from Greenholme knocking and scratching at the front door all day?"
