The Dreaded Drum

See on the official website under Q&A that some joker wants to bring a drum into Brook Road?
Better in Braemar (if at all) as it might wake some of them up!

Or given directions to Wycombe where they seem to appreciate that kind of thing

The Dreaded Drum

I think we should let them have a Drum and then we can identify this person and send him off to Wycombe with his drum.

The Dreaded Drum

as i posted elsewhere :

i'm sure some others here must've been in Brook Road vs Posh... some **** on the left side was banging on the back wall all thru the first half, it was amusing for a while, but Brook Road generally sings from a wide-ranging songbook So just one continual banging p*ssed everyone off, and people tried changing the song, or just shouting "shut up" whenever he resumed his banging. Thankfully he got the message in the end!

we don't need a drum - they are only any use on those quiet days which thankfully afflict us far less often than your average club. They add to atmosphere on quiet days, but subtract from it on loud days - when i went to Hillsboro regularly you could see that occasionally the crowd would wake from it's slumber and start singing, only for the band to put everyone off by playing slightly out of time or something....

so there :sorted:

Who can ever forget the trip to Wycombe in the 96/96 season? a certain drummer was removed of his instrurument by a few bees and it was dealt with so he was'nt drumming any more :sorted: .

What well known GPGer will own up to starting the chant of "will you hide your drum outside" lol

The Dreaded Drum

Think we should chant it anyway in case "Ringo" doesnt read the GPGrapevine
